Fair enough, maybe I'll have to just do chest runs, and prioritise getting all the coal bins full and the wood and logs ? Maybe even copper ore and smelt it into ingots
 
Been reading up on the trials, there are 3 to do.

1 at level 21
Once done, you can then access the lower levels and give you access to more rarer ore

And we all need to do it, either together or separately

2nd one is like level 40, the 3rd is at level 60



There's no way I'm going down to 21 on my own lol
 
If we get 3, I say we go to the forest beyond the camps and try and find birchwood. Use it to open up the mountain pass as first priority.
 
We can stick around town, or do a chest run or something, until you're on.

Shi, have you opened the path to the mining shrine? At the top of the mines area. Needs a lot of the stone you get from ore, or pull out the ground. I'd definitely not feel like that's having any effect on someones game experience if it was unlocked!

next one I'm doing is to the Well

just drinking me Tea, then ill come along, ill try and finish that off and do a chest run
 
The forest is a bit scary! Those plants are a right pain. Though we found the birch. I'm intrigued as to what that lift is actually for too. I'll plant the birch trees I have tomorrow, and hopefully with the wood we get, we'll be able to finish the walkway past the treemen, saving us some time and effort to the camps.

Enemies are much tougher there , I'm sure that lift goes down a fair few levels, i believe we need to do the trials first to unblock the walls
 
It was just the big one that killed me, and I went right into the middle and killed it first before it's poison overwhelmed me.

Some of that wood is too advanced for our tools at the moment.
 
I enjoyed the trip to the forest though. Certainly a lot more going on.

It's also huge. I don't know how huge, but, all I do know is that when the server was generating the various areas for the first time, it took over 15 minutes to generate the forest. All the other areas combined took less than two minutes.

@RockSteddy and everyone else. I should be online tonight again if anyone wants to join me. Might be a good time for you Rock to learn how to play :)
