OK, Guess we just play away as normal except for exploring new areas? Try to get a group for those places. Will that work for everyone???

Oh and gather the materials etc etc. But, maybe let people make their own tools, backpacks etc? Crafting is a part of the game.

I am posting the days and evenings I am most available for the moment. Might be helpful if you can guys can post the best days/times that you can play and we can arrange some mine runs, etc.

At the moment I am free most Mondays, Thursday, Saturdays and Sundays after 7:30pm in the evening. Sometimes I can play during the day, but, that varies a lot!!
 
I'm happy with letting people make their own tools/backpacks, and with only unlocking new areas with groups. So I'd say that includes even smelting the ores into ingots. Obviously if you have some ingots left over, throw them in the correct storage etc.

Just cut a load of wood down, so the wood bins outside the carpenters may look empty to me, but there's a few hundred oak wedges in there. Need to go to the forest to get the more interesting wood types, and for that we need a group.

I'm able to be on weekdays between 10.30-1.45pm but not for the whole time, but can drop in between those times without much issue. Then generally more available in the evenings from about 7.30ish, except Wednesday and Friday evenings. Weekends I'm not sure of. Sunday evenings are normally doable.

EDIT - Oh, and sticks seem to not be collectable by using the pouch trick? So please, take time to grab sticks and grass if you happen to see a bunch.
 
been on a while now

nearly made a backpack, just 1 more strip and the handle to find

been trying to find them, but found some bits along the way, activated my skills shrine whilst i was there gathering ore for the ingots.

im at a stand still now, need to goto mines, and also find some TNT

What skills shrine? Didn't realise we'd reached any of them?

You can cut a leather roll into strips.

There's TNT in the mining building I believe, but don't blow stuff up without us :D.
 
yeah, not going to blow up anything
infact i do not know how to use it or the fireworks, i tried sticking fireworks into ground, grabbed 2 x flint, and nothing lol

haha, i spotted a way ive never seen before to get to the one to unlock them

i will show you, kinda cool :)
 
found an interesting post about respawn Ore


Ores in the turabada area, and in the mines do respawn. The ones directly outside of the mines I believe do not.

What's important, is that they currently share 'spots' with other ore types.

This means if people never collect coal, those slots might eventually filly up with coal which no one mines, until all slots are full.

so another words mine the whole bloody lot and hope we get rarer ore spawn instead
 
If anyone wants to play the game, feel free to jump in and do chest runs, we are still missing some recipes for carpentry / Blacksmith

We could also do with more wood (we use 6-12 blocks for carpentry mostly, and we need it to build the bridges to new places)

We could also do with more Copper Ore (but i doubt you'll find any now, mostly in the mines!)

also worth breaking open those little wooden boxes and ceramic Vases you see near the start of the game for tre likes of Leather Rolls


but most important at the moment if your on your own is chests and wood

I managed to log in to the server late last night just to make sure all is working as intended. Must admit I had no clue what to do so will have to take a stab at the tutorial at some point and look up some YouTube vids etc.
Hopefully I can get on with you guys soon to show me the ropes as well!

Let us know when you can next get on. I can be on during the day today, but probably not the evening. Will happily show you the basics.

Thanks Unseul. Daytime is not possible for me unfortunately as I work from home during normal business hours so it would have to be an evening session.
 
done another chest run, some more recipes found for the books :)

but still nothing really important
i have a lantern now, and i found 4 more, so we all should have one now :D

also found 2 buckets (in the same chest would you believe it!)

and i mined around 200 rocks ready for the well build, and its sandstone not Rock :( i have around 60-100 i think in my backpack ready

Also went to the televator site, forget there was more ore up there, so mined a few! :)
 
If doing that, I'd suggest keeping it for yourself? Improving your own character is absolutely no problem, but if there's a ton of iron and gold lying around for everyone straight away, it misses out some of the fun for others?

Check out where the trials start in the mines, maybe try and reach them and do them.
