It's also huge. I don't know how huge, but, all I do know is that when the server was generating the various areas for the first time, it took over 15 minutes to generate the forest. All the other areas combined took less than two minutes.

@RockSteddy and everyone else. I should be online tonight again if anyone wants to join me. Might be a good time for you Rock to learn how to play :)

I think I managed to turn off Friendly Fire on the server. Will check by giving ShiWarrior a torch later on and see does he set himself on fire :p
 
So apparently the path down to avoid the treemen needs 5 iron as well. So it will have to wait until the smelter is done. We need about 70 more granite (I guess) to finish the bridge to the mining shrine. So we can either pull it out the ground, or next time someone is getting copper ore, they can grab some of that too. Or maybe killing rockmen.

Just don't let Shi get to him. Otherwise he'll be taking a sword down to the mines, but get distracted and wonder off along the mountain pass instead, where he'll die...

Shi. Pickaxes for mining. Axes for trees. :p :D

mining shrine ?

is that "in" the mines? or on top ? or ?

not sure i know what that is



i can get copper ore from above the mines (which do respawn i believe)

but when we are all on, we can head to the mines, iron ore starts on level 2 i believe ?

we can keep going then until we get to the teleportation level / trials

The shrine is above the mines. When you head to the mines from the town, go to the left of the mine entrance and up the side. I don't think the ore outside the mine entrance respawns, but the ores on the first level (where there's no enemies) do.

Iron ore doesn't start until level 10/15 I believe... definitely not level 2, we didn't see any of it when we went down to level 7/8 (I guess that's how far we made it).
 
oh right

hmm, maybe im thinking copper ore that's on 2 then, i know copper ore is available above the mines, which i think respawns, but obviously where there is no enemies (outside the mine entrance for example) do not respawn
 
Just been on for a while, and tried it on Quest 2 but for some reason the interactions worked worse for me on the Quest so when I tried to make a backpack it bent some of the nails so some materials got wasted, sorry!
 
Sorry Melmac and guys, I tried to get back in multiple times but it kept on dropping connection on me. I think I'm going to have to wait until I get my broadband upgraded to play properly. I'll try and dip in when I can and do some stuff so I'm not too far behind and a burden, maybe practice some more nail hammering! lol

Shame I can't stay on as it looks like a lot of fun :rolleyes:
