The well... not a bridge!

Need to check out all the crafting books, see what people have picked up.

I got another naginata, put it in the weapons rack. Also, @melmac go to the bulk cooking room and check the shelves, I've delivered some arrows :).
 
I also found myself a katana I believe :). Can 1 shot a chicken with a one handed strike. 2 handed it's about equal to the large 2 handed axe against tree men. I suspect the axe gets a bonus against them though (or at least not a disadvantage). Wonder how it'll be against worms.

Need to try and setup an axe/pickaxe tool now.

EDiT - A quick read suggests such a multi-tool is not craftable :(.

Anyway to improve your connection at all? It was so close to been playable. Were you using your Phone's 4G connection? Maybe check to see were there any other apps running that use internet and make sure no other device in your home is trying to use the connection at the same time as you are trying to play.

Hope you can get it good enough so you can come on another time or at least get in a few hours on your own.

Not using my phone mate, I've got a dedicated 4G router and a Honour 3 handling wi-fi 6 connection to the Q2 which is the only device on the 5ghz channel. I'm afraid there is no way I can see to improve anything as it's just down to the fact that the service is over subscribed in my area because as soon as it goes past 5-6pm the connection goes to ****.
The only time I get a stable and fast connection (normally 15ms latency and 30-40 plus download speed) is around 1am in the morning!!
I doubt anyone would want to play at that time :p Luckliy it's not too bad when I'm working in the day, enough for me to get by anyway.

I will keep trying to get a session in as some days are better than others its just luck of the draw.
 
This morning i found 3 more recipes

2 x cooking

1 x Bow (i guess the rope we found is good for this too)

Found a lot of Leather Rolls (8 i think) so that's good

finished building the Well


just going to head off to the chest at the mine, then take out a few rock men

and thats about it
 
so went up top into the mountains

4 rock men straight away i had to deal with, so i died ! lol

went back to that place, only 2 , killed both, collected all my stuff

went a bit further , killed 2 more

3 x Gold Ore
1x Iron Ore

getting there :D
 
Bravely brave sir Robin, he bravely ran away...

I think the massive hammer heads, on 2 handed handles, could be the best way to approach the rock men. Maybe pick axe heads on 2 handed handles could do it too.
 
I just bravely ran away from the mythril monster too. He's quite nippy...

I cleaned up the mess, picking up the rocks and coal you left. Did a chest run. Got a 2 length wooden handle I've not seen before. 2 more bits of iron from a bucket, and nothing much else interesting.

i think you need to be careful when picking a skill from one of the many shrines

i think once all your things are filled up on that part when you put your skills, you cant have any more


Not sure how many slots there are, possibly 8?

8 total, you can remove them after, but you lose most the experience by doing so, so have to build the level back. You do therefore need to be careful on what skills you choose, and it does make sense to have people focus a bit on individual professions.
 
We don't really need to be absolute specialists. There's only a few fighting skills you sort of need. And also, the gathering skills for woodcutter and mining etc, are perhaps not that important either. Though equally you could argue they're the best skills to have, since saving a few strikes of a pick is OK, but saving a few minutes of bending over picking up... :D.
