Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

P&D is all well and good, if you can actually D! Tried all the way down from 1.0 to sell, currently sitting £100 in the hole from £300 profit earlier this morning. Typical. Ah well, punts eh?
 
SAR - When to buy in

SAR is heading down, is it a good time to buy in at 2.6, assuming it's peaked already today..
 
Any idea what triggered all that, are people just buying because its rising fast like a pyramid scheme or is there news

The solution to that is to sell on the way up. Its probably good advice anyway but definitely on small stocks with no actual business model


I dont know it'll happen but Im thinking at some point a wave of money will cause more of this kind of thing to happen. The 200bn QE printed here and the trillions printed from usa bonds have to go somewhere. Bonds are selling off now which turns it into hot cash
The inflation measurement monitors food prices etc but its stocks that should feel it first. Anyhow just a theory

RRL is up 12% on 250% volume rise
 
That and the directors released an RNS saying they don't know why the movement happened... not confidence inspiring.
 
I dont like to disclose sources really , as I dont really trust every thing I hear. however he did pridict the rise to start with, and that of SAR before it went mental .
would you like his next tip?, although it might be a bit late, as it risen and fallen allready, but I'm still in for the 2nd push( couldnt be in the first rise due to all monies in PYC at the time.


edit, thinking about it the 7p source for PYC was not this guy who gave the original tips.

The entire of the OcUK forum should all buy some RRL shares as the amount of people here would probably get it upto 50p in no time and then I can sell and go buy an new shiny R8. :D ;)

PYC guys, pump and dump, leave it unless your an experienced day trader with full L2 access and a very quick stockbroker to trade it, otherwise it will burn you.

SAR is easier, its been pump and dumped too, but they have a product but you can still get burnt.
 
just like to say in RRL as well 20% today, holding steady. but I have so little in it. In for the long on this.

do some people have slow brokers then? I find my trades go though in about 15 seconds..

Im quite happy as I have 14000 RRL at an average of 8.6p, so it's looking very good. Will top slice if they hit 20 and spread the risk in something else, but for now, it is looking good..

It's not the speed so much, more actually being able to trade. I kept getting negotiated trade this morning on PYC all the way down from 1p to 0.5p before I could get a sale.

goodness, this whole SAR thing has just proven what an utter n00b I am at this game!!

I sold some GKP to buy SAR at 3.15, watching it go up and down, up and down all day - thought to myself that I might be able to make a few quid off this, so bought at 3.15, then attempted to sell at 3.75, nothing, could I get a quote - no chance. Kept trying and trying as it dropped through the floor to 2.5 - oh crikey I thought!!!

Basically sat there and pooped myself and managed to watch it slowly climb back to 3.4 area and I got out at 3.2 - just!!!

Count my lucky stars to be honest - not ever doing that again without MUCH more learning prior!!!!
