I thought that quote was found to be entirely fabricated?

Anyway doubt there is any substance to the ramires modric swap rumours. He's been one of their best players, why would they?

Unfortunately Fabregas is gone now.
Such a shame.
He was the one guy who felt was good enough to play for Man Utd.
People are mentioning Kroos, but what I saw of him in the Champions League games he was nothing special...certainly not of the calibre of a Fabregas. Are Real Madrid seriously interested in Kroos?

Now, if you were to suggest buying Ribery and/or Robben - those are 2 players I'd love to see at Man Utd. Those guys are lethal.

woodward is incapable of buying any player of robbens quality I imagine this transfer window will be similar to last summer with perhaps shaw and some random young dutch players

Wouldnt touch either of those to be fair. Would cost far too much and they are both complete *****. Reus and Alexi Sanchez would be my choices for two ( kind of) available wide players that I would love at Utd, not that either will happen of course.
 
Good to see the Fabregas transfer has gone through :)

I'm still somewhat surprised that it came off - he didn't strike me as being a classic Mourinho-style player, but when a player of that quality is available for £27m it's no surprise they've gone for him really. That he didn't go to Man U, or back to Arsenal, is more of a surprise.

I still don't buy the Ramires for Modric rumours. It'd be great if it came off, but how often do high-profile player swap deals actually happen?

Assuming the Costa transfer comes through I'd say Chelsea have done good business in this first part of the transfer window. I think we'll see one more central midfielder coming in at some point though. Maybe another striker.


Where do you recon Fabregas will play? In the "#10" slot, competing with Oscar, or further back alongside Matic?
 
The only thing I find frustraing about Arsenal, is how difficult we seem to find signing players.

Everyone else can make moves easy, Costa and Fabregas to Chelsea BEFORE a wold cup, but Arsenal struggle to sign players even during a none World Cup summer.... :confused:
