The fact that Arsenal decided not to take him back makes the fact that we have still not signed anyone and Chelsea are having an amazing transfer window that little bit easier to swallow.
 
Fabregas at Chelsea is weird, girns like a bitch to go to Barca for years, gets there, stays a little, Arsenal refuse to have him back so goes to Chelsea of all clubs

Good signing, hopefully mou can ruin him though :D
 
I'm hoping Van Gaal will take one look at Cleverley and Fellaini in training and we'll immediately sign Kroos, Schweinsteiger and Koke.

Can't help but having a lingering worry that we won't sign many decent players this window because of Woodward and general dithering and then Van Gaal will quit / get fired when we do poorly in the league next season.
 
Rumors form Spain suggest that the real president has give his blessing for the swap of ramiers for modric. Ancelotti is the one that will decide and is also looking at Toni Kross.

Chelsea are going to have a stupidly good team next season. Sad panda times:(

I'm thinking the same about Man Utd.
Fabregas would've been perfect for the passing/possession football which LvG will be bringing next year. Fabregas is already trained in this style of play.

Damn you Chelsea and Mourinho.
No doubt they promised that he would probably win the premier league and go far in the Champions League if he joined Chelsea.
If I were a Chelsea fan, I think I'd be very pleased.
 
In a way you can see why Arsenal passed him up, it would have been a great signing of course but he would obviously have wanted to be the first choice player AMC which then means you are benching Ramsey (23) and Wilshire (22) right when they should be coming into their prime and they have Arteta, Cazorla, Ozil, Flamini.

Prime example of the problems Utd are facing signing top players when you have 2 teams with loads of money who can also offer CL football. Utd must have been in for him but bit of a no-brainer for Cesc really, at 27 he needs to have guaranteed CL for the next couple years plus the obscene payday won't hurt things :p
