He's not awful at all is he? you obviously don't play for Belgium in every game of the WC when your awful. I'm not sure how everton fans can say he was bad when he scored like 15 odd goals for them in his last season from midfield.
Wenger should sign him if he's going for 10 odd million. can't imagine he'd want to leave the prem tbh tho. feel proper sorry for the lad, got nothing but grief as soon as he walked through the door.
It was 11, not 15, he scored most of them while playing as a striker, not from midfield, he scored a large portion of them from corners(making where he plays for the other 89 minutes pretty much pointless) and 8 of the 11 were against Villa, Reading, Fulham, Swansea and Sunderland. He took a butload of shots, 90 to be exact, and deserved about 14 red cards in the season, a season plagued by elbows, iirc an actual punch and a headbutt or two that he got away with, maybe all of them.
he actually is crap, and the utterly woeful argument of "you don't play for your country if you aren't any good" can be countered by example after example of awful players who are constantly awful and fail at every club.
Felipe Melo was rubbish, literally awful every single time I saw him. He got a move to one club in italy and was voted worst player/worst buy of the season. He played plenty for Brazil and was woeful up to and then including the game in which he scored an own goal and got a hilariously stupid red card. Heskey is another name that comes to mind, etc, etc.
15mil for Fellaini is more than Everton should have gotten for him(or paid for him for that matter) in the first place. Utd will do very well to get that much out of him.
AS for Arsenal getting him... lol, being big isn't a skill. Having a team working to the same goal is incredibly important, square peg in a round hole is useless. He doesn't play in the Arsenal(or Utd) way and wouldn't work in the slightest. When you want to put an elbowing battering ram upfront, he's fine, when you want someone to play pass and move football, he's useless.
