Come off it, its not Christmas yet, but we can dream. That SHOULD be the type of quality starting 11 of Manchester United though. Not the laughable dross we have in the squad now.

Our team throughout the mid to late 90s and early 00 was oozing with quality. Its only the last 8 years we have had a garbage midifield

Why is Cavani being linked with us, we don't even need another striker.
LVG should just put a £50m bid for Hazard, he'll force his way out to play football properly.

I believe we're linked with Cavani because Woodward wants a star player from that part of the world for marketing purposes. I can't remember where I saw this mentioned but it seems somewhat plausible.
If Hazard leaves, it'll be to PSG. As for the rest of your team... Cleverley... wow. We could replace him cheaply with someone who is far better.

Evans would be ahead of Jones right now (even Smalling would be). There are even rumours that Carvalho isnt as nailed on as medial reports had us believe a few weeks ago.
Can understand this I guess, but still an insane amount of money for a place Utd have covered quite well (in his prefered position) and Im sure there are as good if not better right wingers available for less

Hazard and Mata link up though, bet he regrets choosing money over United now. I could see him being sold for £55m........to us.
You could replace him but you can't integrate too many players in one go, it takes time, we need a quick fix to get top 3 minimum. I'd have Cleverley partner the new mf, maybe LVG will get the best out of him. Carrick and Fletcher are too old or not good enough anymore and I don't want them starting any major game next season.

Thats just mental. Yes Carrick is the wrong side of 30 but he is still a much better player than either Fletcher or Cleverley. He probably shouldnt be offered a new contract, but he is good player to partner someone like Kroos or Carvalho in rotation from the squad.
That midfield would get ripped apart against a half decent team, and Rafael, Smalling and Evans is weak. You'd do an arsenal...play nice football, win most matches, and lose 6-0 to City and Chelsea.
