Negredo pushing 4 loan deal with Valencia. If that happens Falcao might join City. Lots 2 do on these ones yet. But fair play wont b an issue

Tomorrow will be interesting. Hope it goes down to the wire, I was losing my head when City signed Robinho that night! :D

And now the rumours start that Utd have spoken to Jorge Mendes about Falcao

Are Utd interested in every player with a questionable knee ( Vidal, Strootman and now Falcao)?

Im surprised this thread is not more busy.
As a Man Utd fan, I am gutted that Chelsea have got rid of Torres. He was the one hope I was clinging to.

I wonder what sort of points total Chelsea can put up this year. It's gonna be big, for sure.

As for Man utd - we have to wait for all our new players to become available.
Very frustrating.

I hope the £55m Falcao is true because looking at him i am convinced something is not right. I mean why would Monaco sell him? And remember his true D.O.B is disputed some people say he is 30 years old and he does look it. I sense something very very off if i was buying him right now i would want a loan.

The same is true for Vidal apparantly his knee was a hack job to patch him up and it is a big injury waiting to happen. So chances are he would need an op in the summer? No thanks

The best signings someone could have made this summer would have been Balotelli, Hernandez and Kagawa based on thier prices. Hernandez is good enough for Madrid yet not for Dortmund? This window is just crazy!

Why did they sell James? Both players left because Monaco were offering big money and their third party owners basically got to tell them where to go. Both were being rumoured to moving on in August LAST YEAR.

Basically right after he signed for Monaco they were talking about him signing for Real after a single season. It was basically almost assured he'd be moving on very quickly. I think Monaco wanted an expensive advertisement, hoped to get good enough in one season and into the CL that they could let these guys move on and bring in other good players.

Real have very few strikers on the bench after selling Morata and Higuain in the last couple of windows, although they could play Bale or Ronnie up there if Benzema wasn't fit they are great playing from deeper. Hernandez is only being bought as back up, and Dortmund have a wage bill what, about 1/3rd the size of Real. Real can afford to put Hernandez on the bench, Dortmund can't, that simple really. He's not good enough to be first team for either club, he's an okay poacher but a limited player. More to the point Real, like Utd/Barca, care about revenue, having a mexican will likely help with advertising in mexica/usa markets. While Dortmund would care about that, they aren't the revenue machines that Utd/Bayern/Real/barca are and can't afford to buy a 20mil player and pay him 100k + to sit on a bench and improve advertising income from the americas.

Isco? ( he is probably most likely to leave of the cm's, at a guess)

Lol

Nothing to see here ( unfortunately) pass along

Not Isco, they don't really have another attacking central mid and depending on how James does(because he hasn't done much yet) he might end up playing a bunch anyway.... which would make Di Maria cry probably :p

They don't have a really massive number of high quality back up players so can't get rid of too many people and it's why they need Hernandez. Mainly they got rid of Di Maria because he was approaching the point of wanting a new contract and 200k+ a week where as Isco just signed on his first biggish contract so is way way cheaper to have behind James at the moment.

Same deals with Ozil, Kroos, these are guys that were asking for huge cash for a new contract and the clubs didn't think they were worth it(in Di Maria's case not because he isn't in general but because a 200k a week player for the bench is a bit nuts, time will tell of James is better than Di Maria long term).

I don't think Madrid can afford to lose any more players as their squad would be pretty thread bare and they'll want to win the league and try and retain the champs league this time around.

Falcao same reasoning most likely, they'd like him but they don't want either him or Benzema on the bench on the wages they are on.

Isn't the Monaco owner going through a very expensive divorce and tightening the reigns at the club? I think it was Marcotti I heard say that and that's why they're looking to offload Falcao.
