On the evidence so far United won't outscore everyone, that's the problem.

I don't know. It has been very hard to judge. You have to remember the only new signing we have seen play a competitive game is Di Maria and that was only one game.

When we can play all of Shaw,Rojo,Herrera,Blind,Di Maria and Falcao, I am sure the results will be very different..

I guess yuou missed the point of Falcao just joining....not to mention Di Maria having a whole 60 minutes or there abouts of EPL football before you right them off

On the Falcao announcement on the United Facebook site they state "with an option to buy at the end of the loan period."

Im sure there will be stipulations both sides , personally "option" is a bit of a vague word and imo isnt really valid. He either fails (more likely from a health perspective) or he passes - if he passes it sounds like Utd HAVE to buy him. It does depend on the stipulations in place of course.

edit Tom Lawrence was sold to Leicester late last night as well as the loan of Nick Powell (mentioned last night)

Six first team players, over half the starting eleven. That's basically eight with the removal of Valencia for Rafael too.

A lot of rubbish will be cast to the bench, and Clevereley can spend his days molding the CT23 image at the barbers.

Its gonna be exciting after the international break for sure now!

A lot of pundits seems to be suggesting that we are going to fit Rooney, RvP and Ralcao into the same team which I would be really surprised about. I assume that we would set up along these lines.

---------- De Gea ------------

Rafael - Jones - Rojo - Shaw

----------- Blind -------------

---- Herrera ------- Di Maria ----

------------ Mata -------------

Falcao ------- Rooney

If RvP needs that op then he will be out for a long time and if not, both RvP and Falcao have injuries that need nursing so they would rotate.

I think that's how we should play too, fez. Could always switch Rooney and Mata and have RvP up front - options.

I've never been convinced by Rooney in the withdrawn striker / AM role. He doesn't have the balance / urgency it requires a lot of the time. His tight control of the ball isn't as good as Matas and his through balls / passing isn't crisp and sharp enough.

I'm super excited about not having to play Valencia and Young though.

The one thing we really can't do with the current squad in my view is play 5 - 3 -2. There are too many attacking / forward thinking midfield players to accommodate.

Forget the signings United have made, the best bit of transfer business is without a doubt shipping that pile of dung Nani out. Bit of a stretch to expect someone to actually pay for him, but still, must raise everyone's positivity to not see that clown in the squad.
