Hah. I'm now using, or will he using come monday the fastest cpu my board can take so the next upgrade cpu/mobo wise will be X79/X99.
But how long do we have to wait for that?

Nope, it had a big side window like my 760T does, so no option for side fans, a big let down IMO.
Think i'll go for a 540 then, more bloody money
If you look around you can get a carbide 540 for under £100. The stock fans are crap and the front dust filter is crap too, aside from that good case for the money and the best cable management ever.

You guys with trrifire, did you have trouble with bf4 being ultra jerky and laggy?
Been having nightmare time trying to get it running stable and have been thinking its drivers or hardware, but last night was trying two cards and still getting odd performance.
Have not had massive amounts of time to test this, but I think I found the solution last night by setting the render ahead limit to 1.
Will need to test more tonight, and if good try with three cards again, but would be good to get other peoples experience.
And why doesn't amd have this setting in their control panel?

Nope plug and play. I was having crashes and stuttery performance in BF4 and it turned out my memory timings were no longer stable with a third card added. I changed it to 2T and the problems went away and performance shot right up. One thing i have noticed since the Dragons Teeth patch, if you alt tab when running Mantle there is a DRAM leak. Press Ctrl + Alt + Del if performance goes like that and check out how much memory BF4 is using. I caught it using over 10gb the other day. The only fix was to restart the game and never alt tab.

Sometimes it may run Ok for a few minutes, then it will start lagging and dropping down to 30 fps at times.

But I am absolutely positive, if I sent it in as faulty, they would find no problem.

BF4 is a mess for me too, i think it's a game issue. Are you having problems with other games? What about synthetics? Post a firestrike and Unigine score.
4890 Unigine valley with three cards. That was on 14.7 rc3

This was using gpu 1 and gpu 3. Left two unplugged for dual card test.
AM sure if I used card one and two, I would have similar results.

Yeah something ain't right there i got over 6,000 with three cards. I'd be looking at a motherboard issue possibly mate as im on a different board and aside form bf4 recently, three cards works wonderfully on every single game ive tried.

Can you try picking up an alternative board to try, maybe an Asus B grade or something off the MM maybe? I suggest Asus because I've tried crossfire and trifire on various different boards of theirs and it's never given me any serious problems.
It's hard to say for sure, because everything is such a blur with regards to what I have done recently, but I am sure three cards was fine on 3960x on Asusx79 workstation board.
Am currently eying up a msi z97 xpower... Or maybe should keep the workstation board and get 4820 to go with it. 3960 ends up with system just putting out far too much heat and makes me feel ill.

I'm getting a 3970X and a Asus Rampage Extreme today so im hoping that goes well. Be interesting to see if my H110 can handle the temps it will kick out.
