You're not very good at ski'ing and you're using 2 of the most overpowered guns in the game. I really don't have much love for snipers in this game tbh... especially 'sniper montages'. You sit around on a hill and snipe FC's. If anyone gets close to you, you whip one of the best close-range guns in the game. Well done.

Overpowered? The Phase Rifle? Lol sure man, the falcon, yeah it's pretty OP, but the Phase Rifle? Nah.

I think you should try and hit some flag carriers going at 200Km/h+ at a huge range and then see how easy it is. It's a hell of a lot harder than spinfusor'ing someones feet, or launching a mortar at a base, I suggest you try it yourself. Oh and judging my skiing for a Sentinel is pretty funny, they're not meant to go fast or even ski round the map much.
 
Does anyone actually use more than two armours? I'm pretty happy with playing one position now and improving. I did unlock most armours before the last big patch that reset everything but now I honestly see no point.

Anyone know if ascend has the ability to be modded?

I switch between Pathfinder, infiltrator, soldier, jug and raider. Mainly try to fit the situation be it flag running, attack or defence., i've got all the unlocks i need for them classes anyway. Unlocked the sentinel recently and im useless with the sniper although brilliant with the nova lol.

Ascend wont be moddable, but they will have custom servers with different server flags meaning that admin can enable naked spawn, disable airstrikes etc.
 
I've unlocked most classes, I find I usually have to switch whichever class to play based on how my team is doing and what sort of defense the enemy is putting up. Although it would be nice to focus on just 1 or 2 classes I find I simply can't count on my random teammates to select whats best for the time and so I have to fill in the gaps, which often means switching 2 or 3 times throughout a match.

The phase rifle isn't overpowered, its an alternative rifle that takes large amounts of energy to fire, it pretty much grounds you limiting your escape. The falcon however is still quite op in the right hands.

Pretty much.

Phase rifle is actually considered worse than the BXT1 and I think all of the comp players use the BXT1 rather than the Phase Rifle. The Phase rifles only defining feature is the fact it can do 1 quick 510 damage shot, the BXT1 after the first shot has a higher DPS than the Phase Rifle.

Everyone knows the Falcon is pretty OP, the main thing about it is the fact it fires so freaking fast, the problem with Sentinel is that close quarters should be their weakness, but the Falcon takes this away. It still doesn't mean the class in general is easy or anything though, if you're dying to Sentinels too often, then you're not going fast enough, if you try and grab the flag at 150km/h then I'll kill you.

I think InKursion is suffering from a mild case of GoingTooSlow.

it's in open beta now :p

have fun its pretty good but it does get boring rather quick. especially if you cant find a class that you like.
