I have an i3 2120, 8GB DDR3 and a 5770 1GB. I have to play on Medium and I get between 40-60FPS. 1080p

I'm hoping the 5850 I get soon improves it so I can run on high.

I have a phenom 2 955 and a 5850 and i run it on medium, previously i have been able to run it a lot higher but i get the occasional frame rate drop in large combat so thought best to stick to medium to be safe. All at stock no overclock, though i might try a slight overclock on both and see how it performs then.

That's not good to hear, I was hoping I could atleast get it to high with 40-50 fps.

Also in same games, when I try to talk and press enter, my message wont show in the chat box, is this because some servers don't allow public chat or something?

Really glad I stuck with the Spinfusor for soldier, I find it much more effective than the assault rifle.

Probs me but seems my fps is all over the shop since patch was running max settings but now moved to medium to do anything and still very laggy.

Radeon 5800 series (not the best) gfx card

4GB Ram / Quad processor.

a lot of people have had weird issues after a patch. My game felt great just before release. I felt smooth as silk and i was on top of my game. since then i cant settle in and it just feels weird. Think some people are effected by micro stutter.

I've been getting some terrible lag spikes and the odd bit of rubberbanding lately in Tribes.

My ping is normal'ish but it still happens. Anyone else experienced it or was it probably a bad server I was on?

Is it worth getting the utility pack over the energy pack? Thinking because when the energy pack is fully upgraded you get an extra 15 energy...

Using safety third and survivalist as perks for my soldier, are their any others I should be looking at?

I have been getting this as well. But I am unsure if it is my router since that has been quite dodgy the last few days.

Utility pack will stop you being 1 shot by mortars. I can't count the amount of times I've survived with 100HP or less. Get it.

Survivalist is brilliant for Soldier, for the 1st slot go for Safety third if you die a lot, if not then looter. Looter is better imo if you survive a long time.

Now custom servers are up the games are improving. A lot less new people play them it seems. On one server I was one of the lowest level players there. Most were 30-40.

Holy moly, I've been playing since early'ish beta and I'm only rank 17.
Then again I only play the odd day and mostly on Weekends.

You have boosters or VIP? It takes awhile with them let alone without.

Got a booster recently although it does help a nice bit.

I've no problem with them,still take a good player to use it effectively as some people still miss loads haha.

Another thing why do people in pub matches always focus on genny instead of flag, the amount of times ive had my team just attacking and defending genny while the other team just rapes is 5-0 is beyond a joke

It depends on the people.

When I play with friends I'm usually a raider/soldier depending what it calls for.
Two are pathfinders and the other is usually a technician.

Makes a nice team really.
