Two Point Hospital

So I started playing this earlier today but I have a question - on the second hospital it's prompted me to upgrade my Pharmacy. However after upgrading it, it's now dark / black and I cannot use it... what gives??

If I place a nurse inside it, they just walk out again..

Has it finished upgrading? Sounds like a bug. Delete it and put the object down again.

Just 3 starred Flemington with about 2mill in the bank. Most of my GP's have double digit queues though but opening a Cafe drastically rediverted the amount of NPC's who were just walking around willy nilly causing chaos. I'll continue playing this map until I get my docs fully trained to GP V.

Wards and Fracture wards are an absolute mess - they keep breaking and this really needs to be addressed. Patients get stuck on a bugged Plaster Cast, so you have to pick it up and re-place it, which causes the patients to go flying out of the room. I've read that you can simply close (click on the door) and re-open the wards to reset them but I haven't tried this just yet.

Not just wards and fractures people get bugged out all over the place. Moving them up or down the queue or editing the room fixes most of them for me.

Flemington is next for me and i'm dreading it, only ever hear people struggling with it :o
Flemington isn't that bad - you've got lots of expansion space (I've only used 4 buildings) and you have to utilise a wider range of diagnostic treatment rooms. Tumble on the other hand was an absolute headache because the building sizes are small and you can't expand as much.

I am finding the university the easiest so far. It is the quickest I have expanded. Untrained staff makes them super cheap and you can then mould them to you every whim.

Took a while but I ultimately got Flemington to 3 stars but also reputation 100% with insane levels of throughput of patients etc.

People on Reddit keep saying - just raise your costs really high and that will make less patients come to the hospital, but that seems like such a dumb broken strategy to me - I want the hospital to be massive and sprawling but also turnover as many patients as possible as efficiently as possible. Similarly how people keep saying "only use fluid diagnostics and don't build any others"... but I like building the whole variety of rooms - I want the hospital to look interesting not just min/max it to the extreme

Currently on Smogsly and have taken a slightly different approach of expanding quite slowly whilst doing a lot of careful specialised training, aiming to then massively scale up the hospital and try to get it running super well again
