I'm well aware of what PEOPLE are doing, to insist that it's a trait of Muslims is in reality the head in the sand part, as you're pigeonholing a massive group of people into this box that you feel they conform to BECAUSE of their religion.

Why wasn't Anders Brevik lambasted as a white or Christian terrorist? The media were even reluctant to call it terrorism because he didn't git the expected criteria.

I don't understand why people fixate on their apparent religion, when it's got nothing to do with why these people act the way they do.

And this is part of the problem. It's quite clearly not a problem with Muslim men, it's a problem with some Muslim men. Whilst we continue to demonise an entire community with comments like this, then that community is going to get more insular and move further away from "British Values" which just results in a massive circle.

How about we realise that there are good and bad in every group, and we should perhaps bridge friendships, understanding and dialogue with minority groups rather than marginalizing them?

No the onus should be on others fitting in with British values. What you are proposing is extremely submissive.
