Anyone got insurance with Adrian flux on a Type R? Gonna see how much it is to swap cars over later on a EP3 and EK9.

Doubt it will be any good as i seem to live in a worse area code than Afghan.

Cannot speak for a Type R but Adrian Flux insure me on my S2000, modified with no additional charge for being so. They sucked for me in the past on other cars but thus far nobody has beaten them on renewals for the S.

I wouldn't waste money on an EK9. They might be good, but not worth the £2k+ scene tax premium over something like the DC2 which is more livable as a day to day car anyway.

I hope Honda make some good Type R models in the next few years. The FN2 is/will be soon becoming the staple Chavmobile car as the cheaper EP3/DC2 are although the DC2 to a MUCH lesser extent. Yes this is a very broad statement and I mean no offence.
FD2/DC5 are nice but I prefer my hatchbacks and not really interested in the turbo route, although if rumours are to be believed then the new CTR may well be turbo anyway.

Can any Honda enthusiasts tell me about DC5's?

Looking to get one before summer.

First port of call, get an insurance quote and then decide if you're happy to continue. Try the Bell/Admiral group and depending on your age then try the specialists like Adrian Flux, Sky, Chris Knott and A-Plan. You may find that the specialists want you in something as powerful for at least a year before they'd offer you a policy.

The 306 needs the following done to it Muffin'

-New Catalytic Converter
-New back box
-New Wipers
-New Discs and Pads on the rear
-New Rear Disc Cover (goes around the back of the disc. Mine has vanished, always wondered what that noise was on the motorway a few months back :o)
-WELDING  The passenger side outrigger has a hole in it apparantly, and needs repairing!

I've told him to leave it, I'm picking it up and bringing it back to the farm in half hour or so.

Time to start finding some serious ways of driving that Cosmic Civic down from £5800!

Any ideas on what it's actually worth? I think it will need a good service through ABP Motorsport as it's surely up on it's Monthy Based services rather than Milleage.

I was looking at that one myself and thinking it looked like a good buy. As long as the bushes are not seized (even if they are as long as you budget for the repair) it looks a decent buying on paper.

They will be seized.

The car looks to have an s2ki owners club sticker in the side window. Nav was an option on the JDM.
EDIT - looks like the current owner has had it since at least 2007, so I can't see any reason for it being too cheap.

It has m/h on the dash. UK cars have mph. I can't see the rear bumper or fog light switch to confirm though.
