Just had an email back from Bridgestone UK

Bridgestone UK will be releasing the Adrenaline 002 in March 2012. Please contact us closer to the time for availability.

thats promising, just need to decide on AD08s or these now :o

heart is fairly set on the AD08s in spring. May wait and see what the 002 are reviewed like.

Gibbo had AD08s on the EVO though so I am going off personal experience recommendation.

excellent news, worth considering the bridgestone 002 at all then?

Why wait? There's nothing wrong with AD08's except you'll have to take it easy in the wet (would be the same for the Bridgestone).

Prices for AD08's seem half decent at the moment and Bridgestones out right now seem a little more.

aha I see then:)

I've been half considering a Type-R to replace my MB6 VTI - the Type-Rs seem a bargain (FN2) - and prob last opportunity to own one (naturally aspirated one anyway)

I'm trying to pursuade my wife to get a civic as well (Type-S) - so we have 2 mid-size cars - so I can get a Type-R - 3 doors + 2 children is not ideal .... but do-able (they are both at an age to climb in themselves - 3 and 7)
