Yes I'm aware of that. I dont know the full spec yet, will be getting full details tomorrow but the car is remapped, launch control set to 4500rpm and running between 190-200bhp. Not too shabby.

hay guys bit of a off topic question, but i thinking of buying a dc2 at the start of the year for around £3k-£3.5k

seen some such as this dose that sound like the right price for a high mileage model?

or is it best to get a civic type r on my sort of money?

DC2 is the better drive but the EP3 is easier to deal with on a daily basis.

DC2's rot on the rear arches and it can be a major headache if untreated.

Work looks fine but can't tell from the low IQ photo's. But why not replace the Type R stickers, always seems an odd move to me.

Part cost difference between the DC2 and EP3 will be minimal.

found this that seems tempting

also a integra seem cheaper than a civic type r for me to get insurance... must be my age.... (20)

The first one you lined to seems good and honest. Plus the rust has apparently been cut out with picture evidence. Unless it's well and truly destroyed then it WILL come back, mine has after 3yrs! The front tyres (T1R) on this one will be crap, you want some Hankook 195/50/15 RS2 tyres on there or just wait for the new Yokohama AD08R. Stick with those 2!!!

You do want a DC2 over an EP3, it's much more rawr, drives better, looks cooler and doesn't have a horrible image populated by knucklehead drivers on the whole. Only negative is that it's crap at delivering bread in, but you can fit a sofa in the rear with the tailgate fully open for extra downforce :)

But you really should find one that has had the rust taken care of (or just get a 98 JDM) and make sure the one you get has had the suspension bushes replaced.

Let me know if you need any further advice, I know the damn thing back to front, taken apart and putting back together with bits left over (for lightweightedness of course).

That could quite possible be a b18c.

While im clearly being picky the engine from a integra SIR is a B18c and not a c4

For sure its quite similar to the C4, the engine stamp could still be B18c

Yeah, SiR was rated at 178bhp and JDM so only B18c stamp. Can tell that's a dual intake manifold though that bolts to the P72 head found on the MB6 / Teg Si / USDM GSR head. ..

Relish the midrange!

Today I managed to almost get a divorce before getting married.

Skills!

Genuine Mugen?

Not got a clue mate.

Havent seen any of this design other than genuine mugen so theres a chane as I dont know the origin. But due to what i paid including paint I wouldnt be too bothered if it wasnt to be honest. £450 vs £1650 is a good saving I think.

Bought it second hand painted in black on both sides so any stamp will have been painted over long ago. The fit is really nice though so i am happy.

I have only seen OEM carbon style or seeker style as aftermarket none mugen parts made by the likes of Tegiwa or carbontech etc. The idea of a OEM Carbon unit just seems pointless to me, carbon wont go with the car and painting it leaves it looking standard. The Seeker/Tegiwa one though is full on and looks a little bit too maxpower for my liking so i avoided that :)
