Type R and VTEC owners

Why only pre 04?

Picked it up from TGM today, new lip fitted. Very happy with it. Hardtop also put on later in the day.

The 2.2 AP2 (post 2004 in US) had the thicker retainers as it only revs to 8200rpm.

I don't think the AP1 retainers changed at 2004.

Car looks sweet. What spec is the engine etc? You have a build thread anywhere?

The only place I keep my install pictures is Instagram and facebook these days, IG:Because_Honda It's a Kseries 2.4 running a basemap on flashpro a weaponR exaust manifold and k20 VTC cam gear giving me up to the full 50 degrees instead of the stock 25, as far as engine mods go so far, most of my budget has been going on handling mods to date before I chase the power.

Having checked again the part numbers are different after 2004. These are probably the same as the F22c ones. But clearly the F20c after 2004 have different retainers.

Liking the front lip on the S2000, completes it to my eyes. Good fit too assuming thats the chinabay copy of the OEM part thats been painted up and fitted?

Accord looks purposeful as well, brave choice of colour too :p

Finally, bought an EP2! :D Not the colour I wanted, but I'm not going to pay 900-1200 quid more just for the colour or travel over 300 miles to Scotland.

I'll post some pictures later :D

BTW the insurance was surprisingly low, only £1090 for fully comp, around 8 months back I was getting quotes of £1600-£1700...

^ I can see it now you mention it, the left side also doesn't seem symmetrical to the right.

That'a a nice EP2 IC3, great first car to have.

Thanks, its not in perfect condition. But finding a fully stock EP2 without any scratches is hard, well you can spend 2x the amount I spent. But would you really do that when you could buy an EP3 for that amount? :p

First test drive on my own, didn't rev it to the red line. Last time I did that coming off from a roundabout I had wheelspin. :p

Bridgestone... can't remember the model. I'll change the tyres at some point though, they look like they'll last maybe 1000 miles.

My new Milltek Dual exhaust for the S2000 arrived in the post yesterday, went for this one because 99% of people looking would think it was the oem exhaust, oval tips but slightly larger than standard, but has a slight angle to them, will be fitting it tomorrow on my drive on axle stands, just hope it does not rain too much lol Pics to follow if all goes to plan!

donny in the wet looks zero fun. im guessing you were on the AD08s? much aquaplaning?

were there many other cars there? seems the track was dead.
