Type R and VTEC owners

i test drove an R-Type today...............fantastic fun, it has a great engine sound it's a much deeper tone than i thought it would be.
very responsive engine, firm ride and great grip.................excellent interior, i like the speed indicator on top of the dash, i deinitely need that......great seats.

they almost wouldn't take me out .......... they looked at my driving licence and printed off the details, ``are you sure the Type R is suitable for you, you're very close to a ban esp on this last one`` :D

I havent tried elsewhere, so cant comment , but TDI North have been excellent in my various dealings with them and have a good rep as far as im aware, am sure they'll all give you a standard price for Springs plus presumably Fast Road Setup, cant imagine you'd do one without the other....

Pretty sure you need camber bolts and camber arms for a FRSU.

Excuse the finger on lens but I installed the Eventuri intake the other day. The scoop is subtle enough to not bother me.

Also changed exhaust to a true 3" one, the pipes are not slash cut like OEM and also doesn't have 5 silencers..

Would be interested to hear a video of that! I drove a stock one last weekend and loved it but I thought the factory exhaust was a real let down, no soul to it at all.

i thought she sounded great, but not as good as the Subaru though, because it's the Evo that sounds naff.
the Type R is brilliant, but lets see what the WRX STI is like on monday.

I find videos never do the car's any justice. Needless to say it sounds as aggressive as it looks now.

supercharger is all installed and has been mapped and is running/sounding great.

seem to have a problem with heat, after 2-3 pulls the temp on the gauge goes waaay high, tuner says the stock radiator is not up to the power, everyone else that owns a s2000 supercharged/turbo say it is fine. I have bought a uprated one in the hopes it sorts it out

Well took long enough to hunt down spoon bonnet at descent price. Damn this is light compared to stock.
Finally no more rusted bubbled to hell stock one. sprayed Phoenix yellow and well call me a Ricer but i like it :D good change from typical carbon:)
Picked it up from Newport yesterday good drive in the sunny Sunday. With traffic ect 8 hours :D

Saturday gotta drive over to mates garage change tyres to Michelin PS3's. After remap/box falken got eaten in 2500 miles not enough traction so wheel spinning everywhere on them :P

Soo, when you spraying that bonnet black?

Ricer was not the first thought to come to mind. "Had a crash and got a cheap part of a different colour from the scrappy" was :D

In at TDI North again for an FRSU and map tweak before Donington this Thursday.

Also just noticed our resident civic salesman being outted again on the Facebook groups for his dodgy dealings

Sin_Chase if anything i have it wrapped in carbon pattern.

Other option is spraying more stuff Yellow :D Like rear spoiler and Roof. For a change.
Still thinking about buying 1st gen Mugen style rear spoiler always liked those :) Or slam on DC5 wing :)
If anything must b lighter than stock otherwise whats the point i want to cut weight off not add. But I never seen point of aftermarket spoilers n stuff. Rather blow cash on something that actually works like better pads/discs or strut bars ect.

A sad day for me. I cleaned the S2000, clayed it, polished it, and waxed it. Then I took some pictures ready for sale.
Unfortunately we're moving house and it means that we need two cars that can take a baby. One for the morning nursery run and one for the evening. This means that the S2000 needs to go.

Sad. I've had it 4 and a half years :(
