Type R and VTEC owners

Might sound silly to some for a convertible, but the air con on the S2000 wasn't blowing very cold so had it recharged, so much better now :)

My S2000's aircon doesn't work at all, completely not silly :p

Need to test the compressor before I pay for a recharge. Hasn't worked since I bought it.

Our Accord is intermittent, Press the button no cold air but you can hear the engine change note from the compressor kicking in I'm assuming, click it off and back on after about 10 mins into the journey and it starts blowing cold air, quite odd.

Hopefully it'll stop raining soon so I can get out and drive the thing properly!

Been a few years since I had my last one, but this one being a facelift it does feel a bit more 'floaty' at the front and generally a little softer, but not sure if that's just in my head!

Spun at Castle Combe and now have a broken gearbox.

Would post driving down my fav uk road that i get to visit 3 times a year but would be too much hate hahaha

Not seen it here fantastic driving there

Slight problem with my EP3 CTR. Going over speed bumps or rough roads there's a few clunks from the front end? Drop links? Can sometimes feel it through the floor too! Going to get it up in the air on Monday I reckon.

I'll be having mine rebuilt. I don't like second hand engines and gearboxes as you never know what the state of them are inside. If mine is rebuilt I know exactly where I stand.

Didn't you have some work done on the box relatively recently Chris, uprated synchros and a different final drive wasn't it? :)

What's the actual problem with the box, some gears gone, noise, lever jammed or what?

Would have done same with original but no point of rebuilding tranny that was y80 without lsd. Now the one i gotten is worth rebuild~

In other news Tomorrow or soem day il try out Stoptech Brake pads. Last option tat i not had on those jdm calipers anything else requires brake swap hehe.

I had a Kaaz diff put in, shorter final drive and a new clutch.

It's noisy on idle, won't select most gears and grinds if you try and lift the clutch when you do find a gear.

Them Mintex cheap pads did very well. They are better than **** EBC green/red stuff that cost 300% more thats how they look after 3 years of abuse and 2 track trips.

Stoptech for starters feels like best pads i had on my DC2. But gotta do more hard breaking only installed and did few pulls tog et em going. Since This weekend i replaced coolant abs fluid brake fluid,. So had to go for a spin :)

2" hole in my gearbox, internals all toast. Only salvageable item was the diff. Ordered a replacement gearbox.

Also put a deposit on an FD2. So I'll be stripping and selling the Teg.

Very nice, I did consider the FD2 at one point but after driving an FN2 I didn't think there'd be much more in it considering the price difference in the two.

I chased my dealer yesterday re: delivery time for my FK8, apparently it's built and ready, just awaiting delivery. So it's going to be a lot sooner than the anticipated mid-sept date. Happy days!
