Standard did not lasted long in my eg6 and ITR I like a good clutch kick half clutch ectI use standard in my track cars, never had an issue. I always read about people having issues using non-standard clutches though.
Was great till one sunday evening with crash on m1 after 1.5 hour i had to start using my right leg to press clutch. By hour 4 i hated my car and my life and said to myself never again i'm getting that sort of clutch if i dont really need it. Rather replace clutch every 15-20kACT is what I would move to if I had to move away from OEM.
What Gen of Type R? 7th?I was looking at getting a Type R but went with a GTi, kind of glad I didn't because it turns out that the bloke on my team in my new job also owns a Type R, a supercharged special edition pushing 600bhp :0 I'd always have felt ashamed compared to that
Just back from Spa and the 'ring in my FD2, for having standard suspension still it's an incredible machine out of the box. So planted and fast through the corners. Very happy with my decision to get one.

Which Accord? If it's modern then no, it's a chain and the noise could be the aux belt, waterpump etc.Honda accord does't have a cam belt does it? I got some squicky noise coming from left hand side of the engine where the rubber belt is.
