I know I wont be able to build something like this ever again. Took me 7 year of spending all all my money to get it right. To have it where it was i'w not neen on a holiday anywhere in 11 years.

After all whan depression was kicking in I used to put 20 quid in and go driving on b road at 2am with no traffic not far from my place.

Always hoped that one day i will fall asleep behind wheel and kill myself with it on am on way from rave. Since with my condition i dont want to live longer than 45 maybe 50. Last 2 years been a massive struggle mentaly for me only getting worse with time.

Don't dwell mate keep positive and it'll get better. Just takes time though at times of hardship there is ease at the end.

They do seem to hold their high price rather well, even high miler examples are still 10k plus.

Been looking at EP3's lately, Looking for something bit more practical to replace my Z4, always wanted to scratch the EP3 itch been my favourite Civic since my school years, would have to be a premier edition car with AC though.

That or continue my search for a manual Accord CU2.

A nice person decided that my civic could do with some reshaping and go faster stripes.

Happened in a quiet corner of the car park for the supermarket as well, only had 1 car parked on my left side. So infuriating as I was going to give it some overdue attention this weekend too. No idea how I’ll deal with it, it’s a really deep scratch.

Very sad to hear Zeed :(

One car I didn't see on the list was the Civic FD2?
The last real Type R they are out of my buudget. Common Uni i work for pays less than freaking Lidl on tilt. And if I would not LOVE this job i would look for better paid one. But with my mental issues I'm sort of job limited, i cant do anything that requires communication skills. I dont get alog with new people ect. But its not topic for that :p

Have eye on few 350z's as I mentioned Car for me is more like an Therapy keep my mind from wondering in to dark places. After all i run over 3000 miles a year and drive around 2000 :]

you crashed an EK9? :p
As I see it ek9 is second best just after DC2. For me buggest let down in EK9 is B16B just needs B18C swap or stroker kit. I was specificly looking for Lightest version of DC2. From electrics mine had windows. Ac out mirrors out antena out. Only reason left back in was giving lifts to raves time to time. And i hate stripped out interrors. Rather get carbo bonnet doors boot lid ect. Trim would be last on My. I wasjust not impressed with EK9 when at the time I was driving my 182hp EG. Only car I ever sold when I decided to stay In UK and move to DC2. Chap flew from ireland paid drove it back to Poland and in 5 years of trashing only clutch pump broke.

Judging by the plate, the car is/was in Cracow. :)

BTW My car is up and running again! Looks like Honda doesn't like aftermarket sensors, got a 2nd hand one of my local breaker. It worked and the car works again. :D

Quite funny tbh. I was born in city 50 miles away from Cracow. And after all this EG got sold to chap in Ireland and landed back in Poland almost same location haha.

Anyone got any recommendations for an insurer on an EP3? Had my renewal come through from Hastings this year and it's pretty high compared to expectations (£535 after haggling), lots of Comparison sites are showing I can get quotes from as little as £350 without any of the extras that I have currently. Is a stock EP3 "special" enough to be worth trying lots of specialist insurers?
What are others paying for comparison? I'm 30 with 8 years no claims for reference.

May be worth trying some specialists like Adrian Flux, Greenlight, Sky.

Adrian Flux came up cheapest by the best part of a grand when I briefly owned a very highly modified BRZ with every mod insured for their value.

Think he drives a Skoda Octavia- a beautiful machine.
Dream Machine mate. Who would ot like to drive an Slovakian car build on German parts driven in UK must be super fun around B roads :D

Adrian Flux fantastic Insurance on my DC2 with mods ect was paying just 500/year !!! Full option with agreed value of car. Had a call yesterday getting my moneys worth and deffo 350z it will be.

BTW. You know what they gave ME as temp car ?? 1.1 70hp Fiesta a ******* FIESTA . You floor it and instead of acceleration you get depression. Trully it is Slowest thing i ever drove EVER. stock CRZ felt like pocket rocket compared to this.
So to get my mood up ran to shopping center spend some cash on Fiesta Driver gear and on Saturday night took it to Council estate in Nottingham. Get the windows down get the stereo on 110% blast put some cruise tunes in and roll down the hood on second gear slowly.

Would put life stream link but bet would be to much 'salt' here :D But i can assure You Chav's looked impressed deffo would blend in with.

Short story is. Felt like a freaking Time machine and rolling down the street in 2000-2001. Thats how ya get some fun rolling 20mph in Fiesta :]
