UEFA Champions & Europa League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [18th - 20th April 2023]

Mistakes aside, this has been a tragic performance. We've been dominated from start to finish.

Very disappointing.
We've been dominated by our own ineptitude. Sevilla are not a good side. We have gifted this tie to them. The concerning thing is the repetition of seemingly attitudinal issues when under a bit of pressure. You'd only give Antony any credit for effort and application tonight. We have again lacked leadership and failed to do the basics.

Back to the last few seasons where all the forward players are just looking utterly exasperated at being let down by the core of the defence.

Really highlights how good Martinez and Fernandes are, the whole shape of the team falls apart without them.

Again only so much can be achieved in one season under Ten Hag. I expect to see more improvements next season, hopefully we can keep hold of top 4.

A top 4 is a worry. I can imagine Spurs getting a result against us.

We are playing with Maguire till the end of the season remember that. Martial is injured again and will be lucky for Shaw to last the remaining games. This team is properly burnt out now from the games.

What will be will be it could be worse… Ask Liverpool and Chelsea fans

lmao what was Antony doing just then haha.

For all United fans talk about injuries...this is Sevilla, it shouldn't matter. The lack of fight is inexcusable especially in a managers first season.

ETH has done a lot of good, but the Liverpool result was a worry, and this isn't much better. Still relatively early days though on the whole.

For me the big thing at the moment is getting new owners in (or not) - needs to be made clear what's happening hopefully ASAP.

Sunday will be interesting. We are one of the least press resistant teams and Brighton are tactically very disciplined. It's partly where Eriksen and Casemiro as a duo is vulnerable especially with Maguire behind them. It's not EtH style to punish players for bad performances but I'd love him to give some of the youngsters a run and let them fight for a place. I'd drop DeGea, Maguire, Shaw, Martial, Sabitzer, and Sancho. Some I wouldn't even have on the bench.

If Glazers stay ETH is basically finished because they will not spend the money that is needed.
