Do any other United fans not feel that angry/upset?
It just doesn't feel like a surprise after how we've played over the last 2 months, if anything it would have been a surprise if we'd managed to go through, especially after conceding first.

Yup, bit of a bugger that one. Hardest group by far, still got 10 points. We were always going to need to strike it perfect straight away with a win against Napoli at home, they were immense and we only got a draw. Pretty much put it in their hands from then on. And Bayern missed a bloody penalty against Napoli away! We went behind to some really, really stupid goals too, rarely made it easy for ourselves.
A learning experience for sure. Unlike some clubs first forays into the CL, I've no doubt we'll at least be back in it next year. We should probably put in a good showing in the Europa if we have the bodies just to get our co-efficient up, as that completely screwed us this time round.
i have been saying it to my mates recently, that we have been very poor lately, just scraping through most games.
I think we can write off this season, and hopefully get some decent players in the summer, but with the Euro's, it can be difficult

To be fair, it's a bit of a silly point, given that you wouldn't be playing the same teams in other groups, and thus wouldn't be guaranteed the ten points.
But yeah, with easier teams you would be through I reckon. Your coefficient is quite low though, isn't it? You just have to suck up a few years in the bottom pots before they'll let you move up.
