UEFA Champions League 6/7 December *** Spoilers ***

to think, 3 years ago we had an inform Rooney, Tevez and Ronaldo
now we have disinterested Rooney, Berbatov and Macheda,
that says it all really

Ferguson on Roy Keane's criticism of #MUFC youngsters: "Well, he's had opportunities to prove himself as a manager too"

It's all kicking off lads

Apart from the Champions League of course...

Dont remember Arsenal ever winning the CL!!!

Even so I think that was 7 seasons ago

Empire fall, maybe its time for London to dominate at Football, beauty about CL football it throws up surprises every now and again

The fact its a surprise disproves the first part of your statement quite nicely lol

Form is temorary, Class is permanent (something you wouldnt know anything about of course) lol

Seriously think United badly missed Hernandez up front tonight. His movement and clinical finishing in a game like this is exactly what they needed.

Along with a brand new CM with a little craft.

Fergie has backed himself into a corner on that front, with Hernandez and Welbeck suffering with injuries and Rooney more likely to find Atlantis than the net he's left with the pretty crap and out of practice Macheda and Diouf (How the **** did Macheda STILL manage to miss the open net tonight) and a Berbatov that he's basically destroyed by dropping him in favour of anyone else he can find.

It depends on your definition of serious trouble. If I was a Utd fan I wouldn't want to have to reply on those 3 for a prolonged period if I had ambitions of challenging City for example.

This is it really, what is serious trouble? What are our expectations? Would we be happy with second...top fourth? Or is the title the only option?

Just heard Manchester are releasing a new perfume............ Chanel no.5

(thank you Radio5Live)

United will come back strong. Welbeck has been out since the england and spain game and looked good when he came on today and when cleverly comes back rooney can become an out and out striker again with welbeck.

It doesn't say it all whatsoever, you're naming 3 players who were first choice with 3 2 of which are bench warmers

You're better of saying 3 years ago we had Rooney, Tevez and Ronaldo now we have Rooney, Hernandez and Nani and given Tevez's nature I don't think we're far worse off tbh (not when comparing just those 3 players like you have)

During our only period of form this season we did it with Smalling, Jones and Evans in defence

I know what you're getting at though, my definition of serious trouble isn't not winning the title one year though. It's all moot anyway as we're assuming Rio is out for the rest of the season as well as Vidic
