UEFA Champions League/Europa League 15/16/17 March *** Spoilers ***

Surprised to note that under Jose Madrid haven't conceded at home in the CL yet. Madrid aren't quite the same prospect as Barca, but anyone playing them in the quarters will be in for a tough draw.

It goes to show just how good Barca are, that with all their investment Real can't come close to matching the.

I would dearly love a Real/Barca tie final.

Stick by my predicted draw;

Real will get Schalke and face Raul coming back to the Bernabeu
Chelsea will get Shakhtar as they usually get the easiest of the draws
Spurs will get Barca and have the chance to give it all that to the Arsenal fans pre match :p
That leaves us v Inter - would have been nice to see Bayern get through and us get some revenge for last season but hey ho

I guess an argument could be made for Real/Jose facing Chelsea as well likewise Barca who seem to face Chelsea most seasons

As for the favourites I can't see past Barca, Real and Chelsea tbh although Real are still somewhat of an unknown quantity having not really been tested other than when they were spanked by Barca

With the amount of work any dm has to do at Real it should be incredibly easy for him to shine but his form's so inconsistent Real can't really trust him. While he's capable of the odd MOTM performance he appears to spend more time AWOL.

If he accepted his limitations as a footballer and just stuck to what he does best he could become an exceptional dm but until he realises he's got more in common with Makelelelelelele than Zidane he'll never gain a regular place in a top team.

Which Diarra, arent they both still at RM and used as DM?

edit -answered my own question, I hadnt realised M.Diarra had moved to Monaco in Jan. Interesting to note RM's site has the one who played tonight as Lass

Had been hoping L.Diarra would come to Utd, thought he would be a promising addition to the squad after the numerous Hargreaves issues, but after tonight Im not so sure at all

edit - I didnt watch all of the match so it could be a little misleading, but I really expected Chelsea to put Copenhagen to the sword tonight, I know they had a two away goal advantage, but the match tonight (or parts of the 2nd half I saw) were awful. With better finishers from Copenhagen Chelsea could easily have had as bad/rocky an evening as Utd did last night, if not worse. At the other end they werent much better, link up play between Anelka and Drogba was good at times, but the shots themselves were pretty meh

edit 2- Im not sure what I would prefer for the draw, all GB teams to be seperate so they could all possibly go through/be knocked out, or two to meet each other so at least one goes through lol.

Well im 100% Sure we will beat Braga tonight, Carroll to play maybe an hour doubt he will start think that will happen on sunday.

Would like Pacheco to come on too if we are up couple of goals as he deserves chances especially if j.crapola is getting them.

3-0 for us =]

Hoping that Carroll scores, will be great to have both Suarez and Carroll off the mark :)

Looks like Lucas might not be involved for us tonight because his wife is due to give birth :o

So that's Torres, Johnson, Poulsen and now possibly Lucas this season alone.
