Looked like a bit of a mugging from Utd there as Valencia seemed to be the more attacking team for most of the game - unfortunately for them their play was pretty good right up to the point of actually finishing a move when it all went rather wrong. Still it's a win for them so if I was a Utd fan I think I'd be fairly happy with that, not the greatest performance they'll ever put in but sometimes winning ugly/lucky is more important.

He was playing for the draw, we created **** all for about 85 mins, in the end it was very fortunate that Hernandez is as good as he is. Valencia could have easily been 2 or 3 up by that point, Soldado's finishing was wasteful, especially that open goal miss.
"good away performance"? Do you have the lowest standards on the planet? Our passing was ridiculously bad and we created nothing. Positives to take were Anderson, Rafael and Ferdinand all coming back and playing very well, finally a clean sheet
That's the nature of European football though. It may not be the best to watch but our away performances in Europe have been extremely effective for the last couple of years. Our record is more or less the best in Europe and it's not by accident.

The problem being we only did 2 of the 3 really.
I knew one good goal would pull the wool over everyone's eyes and people would be labelling it as a great performance
And who's said that? All those that don't live in a world where if you're not playing Barcelona like football you're crap are saying it was a great result and a play by the book away performance in Europe
No team in the world would have gone there tonight and won 3/4-0 so get your head out of the clouds
But we're not scoring goalz so it meanz we're rubbish!!!!!11111

Woah, I'm not criticisng him as a player, but just commenting that his performance was below par by quite a bit by his usual standards.
Well you're clearly not happy with winning 1-0 at a very tough ground against one of the in form teams in Europe so you do the math

How about you read my posts instead of creating "fahcts" out of the air? I am delighted with the result, we got 3 points from a very poor performance in a game that we really needed to win to avoid putting a lot of pressure on the team.

Agreed i wondered what we were doing taking Berbatov off for Macheda but once again Macheda comes on and lays on a great assist
As handy as Owen is for us glad to see Macheda and Hernandez getting more opportunities

Yeah fairy muff, it's just he just seems to be getting quite a bashing from a lot of Spurs fans atm. He did get a lot better and to be fair he was in with Modric against 3 of them and they also made Modders look a bit ordinary aswell.
Overall a great team performance once we went down to 10 men. We had our best player on the night sent off, they'd just scored and really had their tails up... to stop them scoring qhilst popping in another 2 ourselves has to applauded.
