That's true. I forget how many games it was but it was well into double figures until we won a game while Bale started.. Nothing to do with his performances. But he was mostly on the subs bench until Harry put faith in him, and he has proven what a player he is.
 
I remember when Inter were linked with Bale under Mourinho and it looked quite likely to happen too considering his spell at Spurs at the time. Quite amazing turn around.

Will be bought for 30m by a big club in the summer :D
 
If he keeps this up, he'd be gone within a year. Unless Spurs gets a Champions League semi final spot or top 3 Premier League finish.
 
Bale is the only one i feel can replace Giggs at united.

He is a must for them next summer, then they need to buy a Van der Sar, Neville and Scholes replacement :p

there'd have been a time when this wouldn't have surprised me, now i'd be more surprised if it did happen
 
We don't need the money so we have no need to sell him. Unless we get a silly offer that we can't refuse then he will stay.

As Harry said, we are building the team up, not tearing it down.
 
Smalling is starting to look a very solid player. He's going to start deserving some more first team action. I can see why Arsenal and ourselves were so interested now.

If Barce or Madrid come in for him I'm sure he'll do what most players do nowadays...
 
bale will only move to another EPL side, cant see him abroad.

Spurs are just a feeder club too, they wont be able to keep hold of him if the big boys come hard for him.

To be fair I could have kept a clean sheet versus that lot :p But he looks very composed on the ball it's true. Evans has been awful this season for UTD and Smalling has certainly taken the opportunity that's hes been given.
 
Well that was a waste of 90 minutes of my life, one of the most boring United performances I've seen in a while. Other than the goal I can't remember a good chance to score and as someone on this thread has already said, the only players who looked like they gave a **** were Evra, Rafael, and Nani. Let's hope it's just because it's the group stages of the CL and things will improve in the next round.

I woudnt call them wonder goal he worked his backside to score those goals unlike the rest of the spurs players, inter were missing cambiasso I sure he would have tighten their defence. He should be back for the White hart lane game gonna be interesting how inters defence will cope with bale and van der vat
