Well allegedly and I've seen it mentioned by a few '"high up" sources (Daniel Taylor of the guardian and that anonymous football agent guy on twitter) he was very close to coming with Chris Gunter to Nottingham Forest, we then went back for him in January too, when he got his chance in the Spurs first team.
The anon footy agent guy is automatically quite dubious though!
It's certainly been confirmed by our chairman we were inquiring about him but maybe we were just overambitious loonies, hence why we've not signed anyone in a year.

I don't particularly appreciate how he acts when he's on the pitch but some people still question his ability. He will only get better the more he plays.

When he is consistant for a whole season (after four seasons, surely thats what every fan should hope for!!)
Those stats dont show how **** some of his crossing/shooting and general decision making has been either - the chances he has had some of those figures should be a lot greater

case in point really. 30 games in which he's either scored a goal or made an assist in each of those. can't be effective can he?
