UEFA Champions League/Europa League 5/6/7 April 2016 *** Spoilers ***

Barca and Madrid get far more favourable refereeing than almost every other team in every game I see them play in. When they play against each other its almost as much of a contest to see who can cheat the most as it is a game of football.

There was a stat out there last night about number of opposition players sent off in the Cl, Barcelona had 30 opponents sent off, Bayern were 20, Real were a 18 or 16 iirc, Arsenal were 16. Now yeah barcelona play a lot of games but so do Bayern and Real, that 30 for Barca is 50% higher than the next team. I don't know how much of that is refs being rubbish and how much is Barca players cheating by rolling around at every little contact.

Real tend to get decisions in La Liga IMHO, but not so much Europe. Same way so many more people hate Ronaldo than Messi, a lot of people dislike Real while liking Barcelona and that seems to come across. Barcelona do feel like Uefa's favourite team who get away with an awful lot.

Hopefully we don't have a rerun of last night in the Nou Camp. A clean and exciting game tonight please.

Who are the Cb's going to be for City tonight? Mangala & Otamendi? Could put Sagna in there with Otamendi with Zabaleta at RB.

I'm pretty sure it's easier to tackle Giroud without fouling him than it is Messi. That's maybe part of the problem.
