UEFA Champions League/Europa League 6/7/8 March *** Spoilers ***

lol they played just the same when I went watching them at Old Trafford against Benfica, team is awful, light years behind Barca and Man City

United were dreadful tonight, the whole team was all over the place. The only player to do himself justice was De Gea. It's mad that the other team gets a free kick if one of your players accidentally loses a boot though, surely a drop-ball would be the sensible thing to do?

We'll have to play a lot better than that to get a result in the second leg, United's form worryingly seems to be worsening as of late.

Five are an utterly appalling channel. Graham Taylor made several moronic comments during the match (how can you have a co-commentator on a fairly large channel who doesn't know the offside rule?!), the picture was rubbish, and to top it all off they cut of Fergie during his interview lol.

God I'll be glad when we're out of Europe this season (which will probably be next week) dunno if it's underestimating our opponents with the team selection, the naivety of all the young players we've introduced to the squad this season or what but it's been the same old story in every home game this season. That said though in times like this you need your senior players to stand up and be counted for and bar a few link up's early in the game between Evra, Park & Giggs it was a shocking night for everyone bar De Gea. You've got to feel sorry for De Gea, he comes to a club like ours and he's having to pull off more saves than a lot of keepers playing for clubs in the bottom 3. Still awesome to see him play like he did tonight

Sooo....Bilbao, better than Stoke?

Well I didn't expect that! They were like a mini barca, we were very poor and De Gea saved our blushes even further. :o

The technique and keeping of possession seems to be built into Spanish sides these days, it's almost like Barca have been handing out that much talking about DNA. Either that or there's something in water over there.

Even when Chelsea comfortably beat Valencia earlier in the season Valencia's ball retention on the day was much better than Chelsea's.

Dunno they didn't play Stoke tonight did they :p
