I was embarrassed by us last night, what a shocking display
I'm confused, I've watched the replay of the 'goal' on the BBC website, where was the offside?

unfortunately, this incident just happens to lend support to the reason fifa/uefa have given in the past for not having the sort of technology introduced into the game, where do you draw the line .
with goaline technology, it would have been given, as they wouldn't have checked or seen for the offside.
After last night’s match #GLT is no longer an alternative but a necessity.
As the saying goes two wrongs don't make a right, the game needs goal line tech imo... it's better than having useless goal line officials stood holding giant sticks anyway.
He's not saying it just because England benefited... he's basically saying that he accepts it's now definitely needed, after (at least) two high profile goal line blunders in consecutive major tournaments.
Typical JT. Gets exposed for pace & poise in the build up, then gets the plaudits for doing the desperate last ditch ****...

No **** Sherlock, should have realised this years a go!
England were terrible last night in all honesty u expect more from them, for me gerrard is just carrying england on his back the guy is just class, it will be a tough game for england against the italians and if england play like they did last night i dont see them going through especially rooney he needs to perform i know it's his 1st game in like 3 weeks so he should be better against the italians.
I like Gerrard (in an England shirt at any rate lol), and while he has made some vital crosses /free kicks, he has been criminal in regards to losing possession / bad passes as well
