Yes he could have prevented Welbeck from "goaling" when he had the chance to run through and he was obstructed. The fact is it was terrible refereeing but your French so your opinion will be biased.

Really it didn't seem so unfair for me but as you say I'm French. About Cabaye I thought he was one of our best player on the middle field (compared to Diarra or Malouda...).

Thought england were pretty solid tonight. It's the opening match between the top 2 teams in the group. 1-1 is fine. england kept possession ok and had a few breaks and looked pretty solid in defence, abd looked like they actually wanted to put i. a performance in an england shirt.

Here's hoping for an angry 0-0 sweden-ukraine game and a lot of cards.

UKR-SWE has me worried at the moment, both teams popping off some nice shots from outside the box. That was certainly a minor worry versus France so it'll be interesting to see how we cope.
