FFS, the commentary really does my head in sometimes. Ronaldo gets a goal in the middle of a one sided game and suddenly:

He's faced a wave of criticism and he's turned it round with 3 goals in 2 games that have first helped his country qualify from a group that few expected them to qualify from and now possibly scored the goal that's put them into the semi final...I'd say he deserves a little praise.

Czechs have been completely dominated. When's the last time they did anything other than defend in their own half? They've had no possession whatsoever. Totally outclassed.

It's annoying isn't it? Ronaldo is in a far weaker team but if he doesn't win games single handedly then the media talk about him not turning up for major tournaments and failing to repeat his club form. Yet Messi plays in a team with far better players barely turns up in the world cup and the media say nothing!
I agree, it's the ludicrous over reaction from that one goal that annoys me, with the commentary waffling along about this is his year, international superstardom awaits, finally it's happening, praise the lord, hallelujah jesus!!!!
