Should Kimmich even be playing defender? He looks far better going forward than defending. If I didn't know I'd say he was a winger or midfielder filling in at the back.

Might have something to do with them being one of the best teams in world football. Great club.

Yep the French totally appreciate how bad Giroud is. Still no Martial, is he really rated that badly in France?

I don't know, add a monotone voice and he could easily get a job commentating for BT Sport.

The 3rd best team in Spain, you'd think one of the big boys in England would break the bank for him.
He's young too, totally worth on the evidence of the last few years.

Eh? He played central with Sociedad multiple times, they basically played a two wide men and a hard working central forward who all switched positions constantly. This finishing was absolutely evident at Sociedad and he was considered a very creative striker who could drop back and play wider. He wasn't a full on winger who out of nowhere got pushed up front at all.
I've thought he's been fantastic since I saw him at Sociedad. The last year he was there they were so brilliant offensively, so quick on the counter and with some epic finishing. I didn't really want him to go Atletico because they were more defensive at the time, still think they are too defensive, he's scored more at a lot of more attacking sides but he's still brilliant for them.
However, his new goal celebration is amongst the stupidest I've seen. It's right up there with Sturridge and Crouch tbh.
