Let's face it though, Italy aren't better than England. The whole match was neck and neck all the way including pens.

We had one shot on target and could barely get past the half way line 2nd half onwards.

Can anyone explain to me (I've not followed club football at the high levels for years), why Saka was being pushed in the England team all this tournament? Everytime I've seen him play in the games he's lost the ball.

Why wasn't Sterling chosen to take a penelty?

Saka's fantastic and has been mos of the season.

Sterling's one of the poorest ball strikers going. It's mad how good he is despite this. He's exactly the sort of player you don't want taking a pen.
