They are basing it on being Scottish
Wouldn't say Scotland have been better, they've had more of the ball but have created very little since that early Robinson chance.
From what I can see both sides have been really bad at keeping hold of the ball, and Scotland have been a tad wasteful with their chances, whereas the Czechs haven't.
Lots of Scottish crosses missing their mark or hitting the first defender, etc. Or giving away possession cheaply in the final third.
e: Just in the last couple mins the Scots have given the ball away about 5 times
They really do, you'd expect McTominay to be in that group too but he has been really poor for me today.
Overall I think Scotland have looked alright, the Czechs are a good side and have historically always had a good footballing team. And I mean, you cant do anything against that second goal. Scotland probably been allowed a lot more of the ball too as the Czech feel the game is won. Keeper has made some good saves too.
More possession and double the shots the scots have bossed large parts of it and could be comfortably winning on another day.
That should have been 3-0
Scotland have not played too badly, just lacking in a bit of quality.
2nd half Scotland has had over 60%, 12-6 goal attempts, 8-0 on blocked shots but havn't taken any.
Aye, sloppy play has cost them.
A decent striker's putting a few of these crosses away today.
Good effort but Scotland don't have enough attacking quality by the looks of it.
Scotland needing to beat us could well play into our hands Friday. All the pressure is going to be on them.
I think they will give England a game especially if we are as passive as yesterday.
I can see England playing quite similar to yesterday and rarely getting out of 1st/2nd gear and a 1 goal victory
Perhaps they'll play for a draw against England, then go for it against Croatia
The England game yesterday was played in 28 degree heat. The game on Friday will be at 8pm, in much cooler conditions. I doubt England will be as passive as they were yesterday.
Scotland's goalkeeper David Marshall has blamed Boris Johnson and Matt Hancock for moving the goalposts.
It's a football topic pal, not politics.
whats with all the women pundits
Didn't know you could watch it in 4k!
