BBC says they have to have a women. Same with panel shows lol. Most of the ones they bring in are awful, but tick box ticked I guess. But OFC it's fine to have an all women panel...

It is not like they give non league men pundit jobs either because that is the level the women play at if that.

Yeah I'm happy for more women to join the teams if it means less Robbi Savage, Micah Richards etc.
Also the level you played at has nothing to do with your ability as a pundit.

Well it's not is it, they play/played at literally the highest level of their sport. You could argue about the quality being akin to non-league but it's not a reflection on how well they do as a pundit.

Totally agree with you there. Some of the best sports writers I've come across have never played their sport on more than an amateur level. A lot of the male pundits are in there just because they played but the way they express themselves or talk makes you really wish they would do something else.
They have been far superior to their male counterparts aswell its worth pointing out.

Haha. I was about to say, if Jermaine Jenas can be a pundit, then you might as well just let anyone on. Man, woman, recorded fart noises, anything. The bar is already set well underground.
I really rate Alex Scott, definitely better than the likes of Steve McSniffalot, Savage, Cole, Owen... actually the majority.

Who knows, but it's certainly not because they wouldn't be good on the job. The main takeaway is that the current crop of men are not there on merit.
Scott is top value, a worthy replacement for Linekar.

On a separate note, subsequent to the Scotland-Czech Republic game, my nephew, whose wife is Scots, sent me a meme via WhatsApp, it was a picture of cars driving through floodwaters.
The wording went, “Widespread flooding forecast in Scotland tonight, due to 20,000,000 Englishmen ****ing themselves with laughter.”
