Not everything is about goals and assists but if you're going down that road Lingard got two goals and one assist. I mean Saka got an assist but it was all Lingard with a very good finish.

Stats are great but you cant use the "how many goals did XYZ" all the time.
 
So it’s looks like the Brazilians who didn’t join up can’t play this weekend bar Richarlison because of his good relations with the Brazilian FA. That’s a joke frankly.

If this is indeed the case then I would 'retire' from international duty if I was a player affected as there is a global pandemic going on and it's the club that pays my wages not the Brazilian FA, wouldn't all the players not be available anyway due to players from the UK having to isolate when arriving in Brazil (hence the farce of the game with Argentina being abandoned)?

I think international football should've been suspended until international travel was a free for all again but nope FIFA and UEFA have to keep getting those brown envelopes so they must press on.

The only argument you have is Alisson but even then Kelleher hasnt done anything wrong when called upon. My point is that if you want to apply the rule apply it to all and not pick and choose.

The Athletic are now reporting the premier league are discussing how to respond. Surely they have a response as this was always a possibility.
 
Given what happened between Brazil and Argentina, where Argentina's PL players couldn't enter Brazil without quarantining, how were the PL's Brazilian players expected to play for their country?
