Guys, have you seen those tanks yourself? From the UK? Cos if not they're obviously not there and you have to take it with a pinch of salt.

It's confirmed by NATO so not just the usual Ukraine shouting about something and western media going nuts about it.

TBH I the president of Ukraine only has himself to blame, when he negotiated with the separatists he legitimized them, agreeing to a ceasefire and autonomy for the Donetsk People's Republic was always a risky gamble, especially as Russia can claim it's just selling/giving arms to an neighbouring ally under threat of attack or some mumbo jumbo like that :(

Hmm, another odd one here - a Russian news outlet claims that Samantha Lewthwaite aka the White Widow has been shot dead in Ukraine fighting for the Kiev regime. I'm really concerned that our so-called allies are using the services of Islamic terrorists. An alternative view would be this Russian news agency has just given up trying to tell the truth and is releasing any old BS. I guess which side you're on determines which you think is more likely.
 
I find it a bit odd - even if she was there fighting for the Ukraine side (which isn't in itself impossible as those kind of people often end up as basically mercs for hire) there is no way they (Ukraine) would associate themselves with the fact by putting a price on the head of the person who killed her.

Not sure what the source of that is but appears to be a Mig 29 not that would narrow it down as both Russia and Ukraine have them.

The broadcasters logo has been rather poorly airbrushed out in the "ZOMG it was Russia" propaganda articles.

From what I gather the person who sent the photo in to Russian TV doesn't point the finger at anyone, he just claims that in his opinion the cockpit was shot to bits by cannon fire to kill the pilots and then a missile fired.

So legit or not yet again we have Russia being blamed without any checking of facts, they'd shot it down with a SAM not so long ago.

Gonna need more than that to prove it was Russian - Ukraine were using Mig 29s for "overflight" around that area throughout July and August.

The only pointer (by omission) that it could be Russian is that they reported their military radar showed "for definite" no plane came within 2.5km or 3.5km (can't remember which) of MH17 before it was shot down.

Pic is definitely faked. I've been reading the comments on the video in which it was shown (on Russian TV) and a number of people have debunked it already.

I can only imagine the ******** they get on the 'news' over there.

e2a. The video seems to have been suggesting it was the Ukraine that was in control of the aircraft, NOT Russia from what I could gather.
