Yep all the worlds ill's are down to the Americans......

Yep, that'll be why relations with Iran are so low since they started to use the euro 10 years ago..... Oh wait, relations with Iran are at a historic high. Probably why the US doesn't like brazil, france and japan either...

Still, something announced last week definitely explains why the warmonger US has been actively pushing for war for over a year by not supplying weapons, not deploying troops and not taking over any parts of a country.

Thank god for the russians wanting a resolution to the conflict, its so nice they will do all of those things the US wont for a quicker end to the war.
Signing an oil deal with a country for influence is such a refreshingly new way for them to work. If only america tried such peaceful means, they wouldn't get criticised then

Hate to tell you this but Egypt isn't a BRIC nation, Russia is however.
And neither of them are in opec which is the only group that "has" to trade in the dollar, every other nation can trade in their own currency and do. see norway, britain, the use of the euro as a petro currency, canadian dollar etc. Even this rule isn't sacrosanct as Iran stopped using it 8 years ago.

Ukraine's "president" caught lying to reporters:

http://news.yahoo.com/ukraine-leader-shows-off-captured-russian-military-ids-160048355.html

He holds up a bunch of civilian passports and claims they are military id's taken from dead Russian soldiers. Sadly nobody told him that Russian soldiers don't carry civilian passports when on active duty and surrender them before deployment, so it didn't take long for his lies to be debunked lol.

Yeah, that's a strange one. I can't believe he thought for one second that would fly  I mean, that's not even lying....it's trolling.....and not even very good trolling. I don't understand.

unless

they are saying they are `reservists` or even active soldiers - given their passports back , to add to the on going maskirovka........

whiulst driving T90`s into Ukraine.

It would actually fit with the narrative of russian troops being there "during their holiday". the fact they would give up their passports on a normal deployment is neither hear nor there as this isn't a normal deployment if you take the signed declarations story to be true.

naturally its poor proof either way but its not totally out of place depending if you believe certain stories on how the Russians are operating.

Nothing in your link suggests he's been caught lying. Just because it's Russian policy for troops to surrender their passports before going on active duty doesn't mean that it actually happens. Also, would the Russian units that are operating in Ukraine be classified as being on "active duty" or down as being on training exercises?

Sending under-cover regular army into Ukraine, give each soldier a Russian passport.

Genius.jpg....

The only way this is plausible is that Russian Citizens who have no connections with Russian army went and took part in combat by their own will... Just like we have UK jihadists in Syria,Iraq,Afghanistan,ISIL.

Not good:
Russia conditions unacceptable - Ukraine
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-31434528

Did you expect anything else? Look what happened at the last cease fire, it just gave the rebels breathing space to restock with fresh Russian supplies before even greater land gains so you can hardly blame Ukraine for not wanting a repeat. If anything Russia are being unreasonable by expecting otherwise.

Short of letting Ukraine regain control of its border with Russia to cut-off the weapons/supplies flooding into the rebels I cant see how anything else would be acceptable? And rightly so.

How about recognizing that Donbass people do not see themselves as part of Ukraine anymore?

Kiev Authorities do not even recognize the local uprising, its all Russian regular army fighting....

Now imagine you were a Russian in Donbass, how would you feel if the government completely abolished your opinion and existence, would you want to be part of that country?

You are right that the only solution for Ukraine here is to completely eradicate all Pro-Russians living in Donbass since they gone so far that people in Donbass despise Kiev... Bring on the gas-chambers... Effective? Yes. Is this what we should be supporting in 2015 in Europe? Not so sure.

I dont see how any of that is relevant when discussing an established nations territorial integrity with its borders?

Errr... Kosovo?

Its like picking a street, putting hardcore muslims on one side and chavs on other... Watch them throw poo at each other, and keep saying.. "Yes tis is horrible, but we must preserve the integrity of neighborhood!!!"

Well basically I just linked to the story and supplied some facts/common knowledge that would allow the reader to see how laughable his comments were, but if you actually need it explained by the story instead of using your own logic/reason then:

http://rt.com/op-edge/230295-poroshenko-russian-passports-propaganda/

link to Russian propaganda website , and using it as a valid unbiased source.....

already explained how these Russian soldiers can still have their passports - its called maskirovka

Lulwat?

It was the Kiev side that broke the last ceasefire after using it to move soldiers/equipment to the front and launch a massive land/air offensive. See post #3026.

Because I already linked to an unbiased article however he dismissed it for being unbiased and not including all the relevant information.

... yeah Im going to need some source to go with that statement. And not just another of your precious RT links before you go to the effort.

the Russians are playing a game - with numbers of somewhere around a brigade in strength operating in eastern Ukraine , and more coming in , they want to hide what they are doing.

they did it very well in WW2 - see Operation Bagration as an example.
