Love the badge, I think its time for me to go to Ukraine with my US passport and stick US Marines badge on my camo and take pictures with Ukranian forces.
Go for it. I'm just showing what's been reported. no comments on the russian only hardware tho?

P.S

You do understand its against protocol in Russian army to have a beard for active servicemen??
PS you do understand that that is a rule which can (and often is) waved, especially for SF?
You may also try to understand if they are trying to keep up deniability they wouldn't act to the letter with army regs? for example using internal passports instead of military ID's, growing beards and being forced to sign contracts predeployment? (the latter story is coming from russians btw)

This, there was a signed agreement between all parties that Yanukovich would step down.

Euromaidan did not like that, so they staged a coup which went against all agreements reached on international level.
No. The agreement stated Yanukovich would be commited to elections in the future. not that he would stand down. thats why the opposition leaders stood in front of the protesters and apologised for not securing his removal.

And thats when things kicked off and the police ended up leaving their posts.

I just find it hilarious that we "found" chemical weapons in Iraq and yet best we can do here is point to pictures of Poroshenko with Russian passports in his hands and look at twitter pictures.

If Russia was at war with Ukraine, Ukraine would not last any longer than a week.

I do not deny that Russians are providing help to separatists and allow or encourage private individuals to come and fight in Ukraine.

But the idea that Ukraine thinks its in full blown war against Russia is hilarious.

I have seen ISIL and Taliban with Ak-47. Russian Hardware.:eek::eek: OMG RUSSIA IS SUPPORTING ISIL AND TALIBAN!!!

I am sure if they tried to keep up deniability, these people would have no passports and NO insignia on Uniform... A.k.a Crimea...

Georgia war = 5 days, Georgia lost all its military complex along with blown up factories, roads, railroads. Russian army with countless artillery pieces within firing range of Tbilisi.

Chechnya = 94-2000 = result is that Chechnya is part of RF.

How about we talk about Iraq,Afghanistan. How well we doing there?

Nothing like forcing conspiratorial doubt in everyone's minds as usually most people immediately realise how pointless the discussion is.

Which works well for Putin's aims.

and more Russians dead than Georgians.... also it was the prelude to a Russian invasion of south ossetia and Abkhazia

edit:

and im sure the chechen republic would disagree with your opinion it is part of the Russian federation - even the gassing of grozny in 1999 they still didn't win

Russians - 67 deaths
Georgia - 169

and P.S

Reason why Russians even had that many casualties is because "friendly" Ukraine supplied AA missiles with Ukrainian manned crew to Georgia which helped to maintain closed skies for a short while.

Actually, the exact same system that shot the MH flight.

lol and you trust WIKI - I laugh.

those 69 are numbers supplied by Russia - other sources say it was over 500 dead. but please carry on

Both the Chechen and Georgian wars are regarded as humiliations for the Russian military. The Battle of Grozny in particular was an absolute slaughter for the Russians and revealed how poor morale, training, communication and leadership were. An impression punctuated by their performance in Georgia where even the Russians admitted their regulars were of no better quality than conscripts. Yes, they might have won, but the relative size of the two combatants made the outcome inevitable.

As for our performance in Iraq and Afghanistan, you're really comparing apples and oranges, however our performance in the conventional side of the war was pretty much a flawless victory. It was the asymmetrical side which took a toll, but even that was trivial in the grand scheme of things.

the Russians had to use chemical weapons in grozny - and they still lost

Right.... so no actual answer to the russian only hardware being found in the rebel and ukraine regions then? not just passports btw, Russians going to the press about Russian personnel being deployed and killed.

I do not deny that Russians are providing help to separatists
So how can you say russian passports aren't proof of involvement if you believe russians are being encouraged or deployed to go by their government? how about uniquely russian equipment? (not ak's, actual russian only equipment)

But the idea that Ukraine thinks its in full blown war against Russia is hilarious
Putin throws a hissy fit when it was suggested the USA supplied the Ukrainians and says it would be an act of war. So if russia are supplying men and arms to the conflict isnt that war with the Ukraine?

I have seen ISIL and Taliban with Ak-47. Russian Hardware. OMG RUSSIA IS SUPPORTING ISIL AND TALIBAN!!!
Try and read. uniquely russian hardware. T72B3, Ulav Drones, none export BMP versions.

I am sure if they tried to keep up deniability, these people would have no passports and NO insignia on Uniform... A.k.a Crimea...
Crimean situation did have insignia (magically once the Russian parliament approved use of forces) or came direct from Sevastopol. since there was no fighting for crimea no passports would have been taken, correct?

Chechnya = 94-2000 = result is that Chechnya is part of RF.
you missed out 10000 killed and over 20000 wounded with several ridiculously bad defeats.

Even the russian's own military regard their performance as disappointing in both Georgia and chechnya :/ How on earth you can go on like it was a walk over is bizarre

How about we talk about Iraq,Afghanistan. How well we doing there?
what about....
