I'm getting sick and tired of listing to all these politicians who spend all their time going from cabinet meetings to conferences to interviews to press briefings, to television announcements to sumits and back to local meetings again just regurgitating the same sound bites over and over with very little action resulting from all the talking.

Welcome to the civil service.

I think this war is showing who can rely on who. I'm happy that Finland are on the path to joining Nato. Reading the article it sounds like the process is being set in motion inside Finland.

All this oil talk makes me wonder if the reason Boris as been so willing to help is that when Ukraine wins and taps into that lovely new field they found that we get a preferential rate :p

No Boris just wants to mess with Putin is my assessment. The price of oil tends not to relate to who you are unless you are Russia and in a bind and your customer is India.

This is good. If it would take 4 months to a year, that forces Russia's hand. Attack now when Finland is prepared, and you're already fighting in Ukraine, or forever hold your peace.

Unfortunately he'll almost certainly get well paid work, but I suspect he won't be remembered fondly in the history books at all.

how can they burn bodies en masse in a portable crematorium that fits in the back of a truck.

also google tells me it takes 1-3 hours to cremate a body, doesn't seem as efficient as just digging a big hole or making a bombfire

Has anybody actually seen any of these "mobile crematoriums"? It all just sounds like a bit of a **** and bull story to be honest.

(unless anybody has any actual proof)
