I think this war is showing who can rely on who. I'm happy that Finland are on the path to joining Nato. Reading the article it sounds like the process is being set in motion inside Finland.

No Boris just wants to mess with Putin is my assessment. The price of oil tends not to relate to who you are unless you are Russia and in a bind and your customer is India.All this oil talk makes me wonder if the reason Boris as been so willing to help is that when Ukraine wins and taps into that lovely new field they found that we get a preferential rate

This is good. If it would take 4 months to a year, that forces Russia's hand. Attack now when Finland is prepared, and you're already fighting in Ukraine, or forever hold your peace.

Unfortunately he'll almost certainly get well paid work, but I suspect he won't be remembered fondly in the history books at all.
