So Russia are copying the Ukranian numbers update to demoralise by informing Ukrainians are loosing requirement too.

While I always questioned the accuracy of the Ukrainian numbers, the Russians have zero credibility so aside from those surviving solely on Putin's media I can't see the point.

Considering they invaded their country i think you could bet your house on it.

Even although it's defending their country and not a provocation.

If the Russians do take the Dombass region they will have to defend it for years, Ukrain arent just going to let them keep it.

It looks like his team, Ward Racing, have condemned his actions and terminated his contract

Some good news at least, I wonder if the tournament organisers will strip him of his trophy too

So the a300 is gone before it even got used.

That's the problem like i mentioned. The heavy units get taken out before they can even be used effectively:(

Is this the one the Slovakians sent ?

I think they're referring to more 'staged' events that they blame on the Ukrainians like the events in Bucha or the Kramatorsk station attack

Is this the one the Slovakians sent ?

Nope

'NATO member Slovakia, which had donated such a missile system to Ukraine, said the one it supplied had not been hit.'
"Our S-300 was not destroyed," Slovak government spokesperson Lubica Janikova said.

I hope Ukraine has made the right choice about what to do regarding the likely encirclement of their most experienced forces as from the armchair perspective it looks somewhat unwise and would stop them reinforcing along the Dnieper, Kharkiv and such.

If they can somehow ensure this encirclement isn't feasible then perhaps staying would be the better option, but I'm sceptical...

My uniformed guess is that Russia will try and take everything East of the Dnieper River. They already hold Kershin and Nova, spreading up the East bank of the river seems like reasonable goal. It makes for relatively defensible border I assume.

It's abhorrent but nobody is launching nukes or even putting boots on the ground because of rape reports in a war. It happens in almost every conflict and the Russians are one of the worst for it, the stuff that happened in East Germany was horrific and they were never held to account.

They were never held to account but doesn't mean the ones now can't be held to account in this current war.

It's abhorrent and I think to us that feel angry about it want justice. if I could put a different angry emoji I would to express how I feel!

Members of our own Royal Family have been videoed and photographed making similar gestures and they don't seemed to be banned from anywhere, give the kid a break. A foolish and somewhat tasteless gesture, but he ain't killed or maimed anyone. Bernie Ecclestone of Formula One supremo fame has gone on record saying Mr. Putin would make a good leader of the EU, and he's not banned from anywhere, (well Speaker's Corner might take umbrage, however they're a singularly precious lot ;)), but generally he does not appear to be a persona non grata ;) The Wiliams sisters have a record of being involved with black power salutes, they aren't banned from international tennis...

Nobody has any obligation to sponsor people making clearly agitative gestures under current tensions, that it was under the Italian flag is surely enough proof it was neither a mistake or a joke.

In any event it's really not worth discussing.
