Would be such poor timing on part of the Russians to mount a chemical attack now. If the supposed new push for the East is still a while away, why give NATO the excuse to pump heavier materials into the country before its ready?

Looking at it through Western mindset and not Russian, the only thing the Russians care about is how long things are taking, the longer it takes the more deadly force they will use to expediate their desired result at any human cost

Well that was depressing reading.

We should just accept Sweden Finland and Moldova to Nato right now. What are Russia going to do exactly? They are stretched enough as it is.

Moldova won't they've got russian troops on their soil and breakaway separatists of their own NATO won't want to get entangled in that anymore than they did with Ukraine's separatist problem

On a tangent...where was the money coming from in the 1980s if it wasn't from sponsors? Genuine question - I don't know anything about the history of F1.

It was from cigarettes and even that money become socially unacceptable. The world is a very different place today, does this really need explaining? Nazis = bad for sponsors.

Bernie Eccleston's wife is still a major shareholder in the F1 machine... I would imagine for tax reasons. The current FIA president is a very wealthy United Arab Emirates figure, one Mohammed Ahmed bin Sulayem. I am not sure if or how HE might offend your sensibilities :)

You are rid of Max Mosley as he committed suicide in May last year, at the age of 81, after being told he was terminally ill. The clandestinely filmed "orgy" he was alleged to have taken part in was said involve a Nazi theme, but this was incorrect, in reality the facts were:

Mosley was the son of 1930s British fascist leader Oswald Mosley.
In 2008 he won a privacy case against the News of the World newspaper after it printed photographs and published video of his involvement in a sadomasochistic sex session.
It was reported by the newspaper as a “sick Nazi orgy” but the judge found no evidence of Nazi themes in his judgment.

But you may wish to approach Manchester City Council to see if they will change the name of one of the city's main thoroughfares, Mosley Street, which was named after his father, "when the world was very different". Such pushes for change could become a life's work, if you are so inclined.

History will still cite Max Mosley as one of the longest running FIA presidents.

What is your point? There are no shortage of streets named after slavers so its no surprise there is one named after a nazi. Money talks. Money also talks when it comes from the Middle East.

This is a pointless tangent. You like to defend nazis and the far right. This isn't a surprise to anyone on this forum. Fortunately you are in the minority nationwide.
