I think it's inevitable. The amount of resources the west has poured in to this means that we can't just walk away now. We have to win. The more we win, the more desperate Putin will get. Desperate men do desperate things.

We won't support Ukraine invading Russia of Belarus. Ukraine will try and push Russia back across the border, they will attack logistics within Russia and why shouldn't they. We will not put troops in Ukraine. NATO isn't getting involved in the fighting, that would be the fastest way for the support in the UN and parts of the EU to disappear overnight.

It's odd how despite there being a risk from drones/artillery etc.. it doesn't seem to be standard practice for them to attempt to conceal their vehicles... where is all the netting etc..? Should at least make it harder to spot them and obscure that, say, this particular vehicle is some MLRS system rather than a random Russian army ruck etc.

Just waiting for the first ammo site to go up with a tactical nuke being part of what was destroyed sending nuclear material over the local area..

That might not be fun, I presume that if they were to use such a thing it would be via one of those strategic bombers that don't dare to stray into Ukrainian airspace but instead launch their missiles from the relative safety of Russian or Belorussian airspace.

I guess a raid on a munitions warehouse or military base inside Russia perhaps? Though I'm not sure that you'd actually end up scattering much fall out around, it's not like the nuke itself is likey to go off, they're pretty hard to detonate accidentally even if you blow them up AFAIK it would be the possible explosions around it that might scatter stuff in the immediate vicinity I guess?

It's Ok, I'm just a member of an Internet forum sharing my opinion on the current situation. Please don't assume because I did so I'm some sort of nuclear strategist.
It wasn't your nuclear strategic play I was after. Just confirmation that you're not someone I'd want on my side. I think others have replied saving any futher typing on this.

That seems unlikely, surely you'd see it on the footage (at least if it were a switchblade), unless the ghost drone thingies have some mechanism not yet revealed these things are supposed to be relatively slow-moving - switchblade 600 cruises at like 70mph and can dash at like 115mph according to google so... should totally be visible on camera if used.

I suspect it was simply a good/lucky shot, tank was in an open field to be fair and barely moving - they've no doubt got lots of drone footage but good reason to share this particular clip widely because it was a good hit.

Shouldn't we be starting to see the effects of Nato munitions arriving into the east by now
We've been seeing the effects of NATO munitions and training for the past 9 weeks. If you are talking about the heavier juicier equipent like the arty recently supplied, that may take a bit longer as kit is only just making it in country and training is required, the trainers for the most part have already been trained out of country, but they still need to train up the boots on the ground. The effect will have already started to have been felt, but for the most part that will start to be noticed on a wider scale in the coming weeks. wether its enough to make a sizable impact is yet to be seen. However the outlook is mildly positive.

That would ne my thought. Just it seems dumb to put iksar (ics) groundlaunched nukes in an arms depot within striking distance of the front. The US nukes are designed not to go off unless initated in a certain controlled way. One would home putins have that..or they become a severe risk to the frontline logistics supply! If putin’s tactical nukes don't have that then it would make sense to carry only when an explicit planned launch is made. Otherwise they@re kept locked away in the heart of russian military bunkers far away from fire setting saboteurs.

You see putin is now in the PR build up russia day with the announcement he is personally taking charge of the ukrainian war and leaving rhe running of russia to the priminister.. lets hope he comes to the front. The bounty for the snipers would be massive!
