At the moment all the brass in Russia thinks of little else other than when they were the Soviet union. All those minions to order about and abuse.Wonder if Russia remembers the winter war from back when they were the soviet Union.

Surgeons did everything they could to excise the swarming vulgar mass of infected virulency (guess what I was listening to earlierWho would be Putins cancer surgeon? Which bit to cut out...and which to leave?
But but but no one was tougher on Russia than Trump!
Would you look at that... how very not-whatsoever-a-shock-to-anyone-with-common-sense.
Germany has benefitted a lot since WW2 by not spending money on the latest big bang generals want.
Germany's dependency on Russian gas isn't really the fault of their government (they knew it was a bad idea at the time) its the fault of the people. In the wake of Fukushima they demanded the country begin closing it's nuclear plants and made it clear that promising to do so was a prerequisite to getting votes, so the politicians had no option but to acquiesce even though it would require increasing coal/oil/gas generation thus making the country more dependant on Russian imports at a time Putin was becoming more hostile to the west. The age old adage about not putting all one's eggs in one basket is one the German government would have been well to heed
Probably, the problem is all they remember about it is that they won and forced their enemy to surrender land and money. The amount of Russians who had to die to achieve that victory is a mere footnote to their history.Wonder if Russia remembers the winter war from back when they were the soviet Union.

"Advance on the enemy until they run out of ammunition" Has pretty much been the main Russian combat doctrine for 200+ years now.
Same with Japan. They were able to plough that money into the economy.
I thought we weren't allowed to post videos or has that changed.
The thread subtitle was originally set to something like "do not post graphic images" (I.E no dead/injured humans) but was recently revised to what it is now (I.E no explosions where it's obvious people died), however because the subtitle doesn't fit in a browser tab most posters haven't noticed the change yet so still post videos of attacks, it will get moderated eventually.I thought we weren't allowed to post videos or has that changed.
Even your landslide mention was leaning towards the kind of tsunamis generated by earthquakes (EDIT: Though that is kind of irrelevant to the main point of this as using nuclear weapons to generate a landslide generating a tsunami is another take on it again).
