Hell yeah, finally! Gotta break that blockade, Russia is also in the process of sending a few more ships; corvettes/new patrol ships etc.. to the Black Sea too IIRC.

I guess a story coming soon “more Russian losses at/near snake island”. Then hopefully more in general across the Black Sea.

In other news, sadly things aren’t looking good for some of the Azov guys and Russia is obvs gonna claim “we didn’t do it, that small pretend country did it”

Because that's as far as we dare push things before it ends up starting WW3!

If Russia claims they would have taken Ukraine without the west getting involved and supplying weapons - it's likely they already see us as a valid target. Doing any more than we are now might just be the final straw.

The Russians are full of it, the only thing they can wither on about is the nuclear option. And they know full well it would be like nuking themselves.

It's likely Ukrainian forces dug in around the city of Severodonetsk will be surrounded by Russian troops, one Western official predicts.

The official says Russian forces have been making “incremental progress” in encircling the pocket of Ukranian resistance around the city – just one part of the Donbas region in south-eastern Ukraine, and shown on this map depicting Russian military advances:
